Florence is making Danish pastries with icing and raisins, Fernando is making mulled wine.

For a pack up I'll make up food flasks with a hearty Irish stew.

In a bit ish this mo king, so can I take the stew to go and a very large tea?

If I dig out the fluffy balls to throw for the bumble cats, I could be here all day. French toast with berries please.

My carer had a trip to Japan earlier this year, here he is making his feelings known.

I am not in Lancashire but not far from there , NW england . But i am definitely willing to travel for a good pie .

Sorry I was awake in the night and for once managed to get back to sleep.

So it is still wet and cold (I mean it is December so that is not a surprise) so we need something warming.

So kedgeree and Florence is making hot cheese baguettes Fernando is making a warm lemonade with a dash of vodka.

And yes there will be meat and potato pie, red cabbage and peas for anyone dropping in later.

@ScottBakula when I was 10 we moved across the pennines from God's own country so I picked up a taste for chips and gravy, pie suppers and learned to call sandwiches butties.

Well I should of had a doctors appointment today at 9.15 but they have just text saying its been cancelled 😡. Really annoying as I have been waiting for this appointment for nearly 3 weeks . I had a "remember your appointment" text yesterday afternoon so it's only just changed.
I have been trying to get through to them for the past 10 mins to rebook it ( I am 3rd in the phone queue atm )

So I am going to sit in the cafe and enjoy some kedgeree and a coffee

Please can I have a pack up , meat and potato pie, mushy peas ( the only time I ever eat them ) gravy and a large barm cake.
I am going to make myself a Wigan buttie 😋.

@sashh gods own country is a beautiful part of the world with ( generally) lovely people.

I am not sure why but the word sandwiches sounds wrong when I say it , I can pronounce it with no problems but it always sounds like I am trying to speak posh. And posh I ain't !

@ScottBakula I've moved around quite a lot, I can order butties, barms, rolls, teacakes and even the odd batch.

My carer was highly amused when we went to Lancs that the local radio station was advertising a pub quiz with a 'Pie and pea supper'.

@Tilllly , I am back on the other side of the hill now in the city I grew up in but I'd love to go back.

@sashh if ww can have a gp out the back I will kidnap persuade the receptionist I spoke to today to work for us.
They are often called rotten on mn but she was great , got me booked in at 11am today .The doc said I need more blood test , book it with the reception.
The local clinic was fully booked for tomorrow but she knows I work full time so phoned them up and got them to squeeze me in tomorrow morning.

Ooh pie and pea supper , very nice .

I spose I'd better go and do some work now . . .pfft . . .slouchs off . .

I'm putting a bunch of pink roses over there and if I have to seperate people I will not be happy.

OK lets head towards the Holland / Germany for ham, cheese, eggs, Florence's bread rolls and Fernando is making warm vimto with a kick of schnaps.

Packing up today will be a tiffin of veg curry, rice and samosas.

I'm using up some of @BCBird 's eggs, I'm doing soufflé omelettes with a choice of smoked salmon, cheese, mushrooms and ham.

Florence is baking bakewell tart/pudding and Fernando is making sangria.

For a pack up I'm making flasks of pea and ham soup.
