Porridge with honey and a hot chocolate with Cointreau please. I’d better have a coffee too.
I’m going to settle down under a blanket in a big chair for a bit.

Finally got coffee and a bacon sarni - it’s been a busy night.

The Otters have settled in well, they have their own stream.

I forgot about the otters! I’m going to look.

I thought we could all take a pack up to the petting zoo and bring the kittenbees along.

So flasks of tea, coffee, hot chocolate. Insulted bait boxes with bacon and sausage sandwiches.

Florence will be along with some cheese and onion bread and Fernando is putting alcohol in some flasks, so it will be a surprise if you get a shot.

Oooh that's a good idea, count me in. Bacon buttie and coffee for me please.

Do you think the kittenbees will be good and fly along side us or do we need tiny harnesses for them

The kittenbees can smell the sandwiches, they will follow.

Well it is getting cooler so the pool will be converted to a water feature until it is cold enough to become and ice rink.

We need hot food today I feel but I'm not really in a coking mood so Florence is making a range of breads to toast.

We have just missed Rosh Hashanah and my kitchen is not kosher (maybe I should have a seperate one?) but apples with honey can go on the toast.

Fernando is making gluhwein.

Can I have a coffee too please and some toast with marmite on.

Marmite! I'll make toast, you can take it outside to the special cupboard where that abomination is stored, please do not return until you have consumed it.

I like marmite too @ScottBakula but somehow it doesn’t feel special enough to be a weekend breakfast food.

Another colder morning so hot food is needed.

Bacon and tomato. So bacon fried until it is crispy, then tomatoes are added into the pan and a little boiling water - it's like a tomato/bacon soup.

I know that sounds awful but it is really nice.

Florence is making croissants for anyone with a preference for a sweet breakfast.

Obviously there is the usual range of hot drinks, Fernando is making hot chocolate based cocktails.

I promise gloom is locked in a smell proof box and a washed the plate and knife.

Tomato and bacon is great together I have done similar and added a little either mozzarella or spicy Mexican cheese just before serving.

Morning! I'm not very hungry, but can I have a pot of tea and I'll go watch the goats in the garden while the sun comes up

@Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket tea, well it is chiya, so tea with sugar, optional milk and cardamom and other spices.

Florence is frying dough to make sel roti and jeri swari.

Fernando is making cocktails with raski.

Well how is everyone getting on with storm Agnes? Nothing going on here but just in case I'm making porridge and congee.

I'll make some soup for anyone wanting a packing up, Florence is making bread with various things in it eg cheese and onion, raisins, whole grains - not in the same loaves obviously.

Fernando has a shelf of whisky/whiskey to keep us warm.
