Are the Pygmy goats friendly? I'll sit and pet them for a while if they are while I wait for the vol au vents to be ready.

Hey all. First time visitor here. Woken up after some very stressy dreams about getting (Yr7) DS to school.on time with everything he needs. Coming towarda the crunch point of a huge complex project at work and my brain is just fried with all of the extra organising atm. Suspect PMT hormones not helping.

Don't suppose you offer ovaltine do you? Haven't had it in years but really fancy one. Warm milk and honey as a second choice please.

Do the Pygmy goats engage in goat yoga? I've always wanted to try that! Perhaps Fernando could lead a class and serve up refreshing cocktails afterwards?

Yes the goats are friendly, I don't know that Fernando knows yoga but I can ask.

@CatMattress welcome, while I make the ovaltine do you know about the cafe?

Basically I serve breakfast every day, the cafe has a garden, a petting zoo (opened today) when it is really hot the ice bar opens and the water feature becomes a swimming pool, in winter it becomes an ice rink.

The kittenbees live int he cafe and will take a nibble of any sweet food - please don't give them alcohol. Outside are their larger relatives the bumblecats.

Sashh, I love the petting zoo, I really like horses ( worked with the for 10 + yrs irl ) the miniature and normal size shetlands I looked after were , in polite company referred to as 'spicy' , but away from owners or customs ears they were absolutel shits ! .
Give my a huge draugh horse any day.
However I am 100% sure the HPC horse's are wonderful well mannered.

Florence is baking Plăcintă aromână, a leek pie and Plăcintă cu cartofi, a cheese pastry.

I'm making zacusca to spread on bread or if you prefer jam, pickles, tomatoes and cucumbers

Fernando is making sour cherry cocktails.

So this morning as it is getting chilly I thought we would head to the Faroe Islands.

So hams, cheeses, herring, cereals, yoghurts, fruit and Florence is making Danish pastries and Fernando has given up on the alcohol shops so he's making mocktails, feel free to bring your own alcohol to add to them.

Well as we have a fine collection of goats so I think goat's cheese, goat milk cocktails and goats milk pastries are in order.

I'll put out a couple of platters of ham, cheese, pickles, tomatoes and cucumber so help yourselves for breakfast or take a selection as a pack up.

Morning @sashh . Of course I’ll look after them. Like all goats they eat anything, so they’re easy.

I would love some goat cheese and crackers.
If there is any herring left over from yesterday please can I have a bit.

I feel in the mood for a Singapore breakfast so Kaya toast, nasi lemak, lor mee, chwee kueh, I'll pop some eggs in various forms on.

Florence is making cakes with tropical fruits and Fernando is, obviously, making Singapore slings.

Wandered back in and giving the place a little tidy up, plumping up the cushions and straightening the throws. I'll be meditatively washing up all the glassware and trying to spot the kittenbees through the window.

Well it is cold and wet here so I think porridge will be today's special. Florence is making soda bread and Fernando is making hot chocolate with a bit of a kick to it.
