No storm here! Currently have food poisoning, so wil be juggling that, a small child and trying to exchange on new house.

I haven't been in for a few weeks - can't believe I missed a trip to the petting zoo! I'm lying here thinking about Greek yoghurt and loads of honey, so I'll see if Florence has any on the menu today. Maybe followed by brown toast and honey. Or a bacon and poached egg sandwich.

The petting zoo is on-site?! I didn't RTFT and missed that. Woah, next time my 3 year old wakes me up in the night, I'll bring him to brush the goats while I have a cup of tea.

@Bbq1, welcome to the cafe, watch out for the kitten bees they like anything sweet and will nibble any cakes that are left unattended .

I like potato cakes but I am never really sure what to have with them , cooked breakfast? Sausage and beans? On their own ?

@MrsMigginscoffee I usually put them in the toaster and butter them to eat on their own, but they go well as part of a full English.

Well I feel vaguely human this morning, thank you for taking care of things. I think this morning I'll leave Florence to make Danish pastries (she will complain but leave her to it).

Fernando can make some vodka based cocktails and the rest of us can head out to the petting zoo to feed the animals.

Helloooo! I've not been in for a while, but I see that we've acquired a petting zoo! Do we have goats? I love them, especially the little ones that skip about the place, I'll pop over and take a look!
