Morning, just starting a new thread for when the last one fills up.

Ooh. I'm late for breakfast. OK, what will I try?
Lots of fruit salad, chilled.
Spring water.
Yorkshire Tea.
Potato Frittata.
Bacon for anyone who wants it (I don't partake). Likewise bread.
Fruit cake with butter or cream.

Maybe I'll sort that tomorrow. 😂

Well this morning I'm in the mood for bubble and squeak, I might add a fried egg on the side.

Wide awake feeling really ill.. the bubble and squeak nearly tipped me over the edge 🤢😂 so I'm out in the garden with the kitten bees. Can Fernando bring me an anti-nausea potion laced with something soporific? I await his magic!

After finally getting to sleep after 2am I woke up this morning to find that I had taken my morning meds last night instead of my evening ones🫣 so stupid. It was so nice to spend time at the cafe and not feel totally alone.
What's the chance of something cold and pineappley to get through a long day on little sleep?

I'm awake and not tired, though I should be after a long week. Perhaps Fernando could create something delicious to be sipped that makes one sleepy? Though I'm not sure what that might be.

I'll sit and chat with Florence for a bit, keep her company.

Aw thanks @NoTeaNoShade feeling better! Not sure how you feel about Horlicks but Fernando is making me one with a shot of rum in it if you care to join. And crumpets...

@Britintheusa Horlicks? My mum used to make that and ovaltine, I'm not sure if they are different.

Well it is forcast to be warm today so I've made sure the pool is clean and Fernando has the pool bar open.

I thought we might have tropical fruit with yoghurt and nuts, so lychees, dragon fruit, guava, bread fruit, rambutan and acai.

Obviously Fernando will be making fruit based cocktails and Florence will be baking some fruity pastries.

If you use the pool watch out for the bumblecats, they are not as friendly as kittenbees.

Great idea @Britintheusa I'll take a rum and horlicks, see if that does the job and a plate of rambutan and mangosteen too please @sashh if possible.

I'll set up shop on one of the sun loungers and let the warmth (and the rum) help me drift off...

Well the fruit was popular so I'll make it in to a fruit salad and Florence wants to make something durian, I've banished her and the fruit to the garden, she can use the pizza oven.

Fernando is making rum punch.

I'm going to make a selection of flat breads, so chapatis, roti, pita - you get the idea.

I thought we should have a trip to Finland.

Florence is making Karelian pie, it will be served with butter and egg.

Rye bread with deli meat, cheese and veg, porridge and coffee.

Evening! I'm moving house tomorrow morning and still packing and feeling sad about leaving my current home even though it's my choice to do it, very silly. I'm glad the happy place cafe is here. Can Fernando make me some kind of coffee cocktail and can I have a pack up? Maybe some leftovers from the Finnish breakfast?

So lets head to a US high school for breakfast pizza, pizza topped with bacon, sausage, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms and topped with cheese.

Fernando is making bloody marys and Florence is making French apple tart.

Ooh French apple tart with just a few slices of bacon on the side please!

It might have been a while since I've been here, but I am pleased this place is still open. Have you redone some of the decor?
Currently awake stressing about poorly 18mo - on a Greek island before Mumsnet bingo suggests 111, OOH, A&E or an urgent treatment centre!
