Derek doesn't die, well, so far that we can see in the show. Christina saves him. Owen gets shot, but not seriously wounded. Meredith has a miscarriage, just like that, whilst working on him, though.

Callie and Arizona decide to stay together and one of them will probably be having a kid.

Alex lives, and Lexie is at his bedside.

Richard lives, too, but the bereaved husband dies by his own hand.

Let me try to remember some other stuff.

I can't believe they didn't show it to you all in one go - at least the Aussies did that for us!

It is nailbiting stuff. But worth it. Just to see Bailey in bits, really (emotionally) because... ah, I don't think expat mentioned that bit.

It doesn't say anything on the ABC web site (yes, I looked) about Bailey.

Ohh, yes please. (I like spoilers, then I don't panic and hide behind the cushion)

okay.. SPOILER ALERT

You know ugly doc who got shot in the belly in the patient's bathroom, well Bailey does her best to patch him up (you probably saw that bit) and then she and the patient drag him to the lift because he has to be operated on - but the lifts have been taken out of commission to isolate the shooter man on one floor. So they've dragged him all that way and then Bailey can't do anything and she just loses it totally because she know's he's going to die. Which he does. But not before he says something about the first female doc who got a bullet through the forehead - he asks Bailey to tell her that she missed out on a good thing by him dying before she went out with him (of course they don't know she's dead too).

I seem to remember all the patients who were in strife survived the mayhem - the only losses were that first female, ugly doc and a few bit part players.

Despite the spoilers it's still a massively tense and emotive episode, I can assure you.

Ahh, I read about some of that on the ABC web site.
How am I going to fill up my Thursday evenings now? I'll have to....work...
