Penelope K By The Way on Cbeebies

Perhaps is best to avoid this programme.

Children loved it but adults hated it.

Thought we'd give it a try as it was new but it was definitely not for me and I watch a lot of Cbeebies.

Has anyone seen the The Kazoos? They are another Australian show that pitched to the BBC but missed out. My 4 yr old loves them!!! Not on Tv yet but hopefully wont be long. Check them out online.

There is a group called The Kazoos. They pitched up against Penelope K and missed out. Seriously, check out their website and tell me why they didn't select them. My boy loves their DVD.... and it doesn't drive me nuts!!

Penelope K is a total pile of s**t and I'm so pleased to find other people think so too. How can people claim it's educational when she spends the whole time looking for a lost shoe and trying to have more googly eyes than Mr Maker has in any of his doodle drawers??

I hate penelope K, that is the only show that when it comes on I will always always change the channel, it just makes me cringe when I see the advert for it, it looks awful

I've only seen the trailer and it made me want to stab my own face off.

Just seen a trailer for this. Will watch this afternoon with an open mind. I can see how it might not appeal to everyone, but, equally, I can see that I'm over 30 years out of the core demographic.

Righto. Just watched this. It's big, colourful and noisy, and I enjoyed it. I can see how others might get a bit annoyed by it, but am slightly baffled by the violence of the reaction here. Also, if you get upset by it, you must be very very easy to upset.

Eugh. My DS makes me put it on Sky+ for him in the afternoons :( She gives me the heebie-jeebies.
