Did anyone watch Gleeful this week - about the real show choirs?

ItalyLovingMummy · 11/06/2010 15:05

I missed that, was it any good? I remember being in the choir at school, nothing like as much as fun as a Glee club - all very dull.

TheLadyOfTheGreenKirtle · 11/06/2010 19:31

i watched it, thought it was v good!

pissovski · 12/06/2010 16:59

I've just watched it!

Now wondering if I was going at the same bit as lucykate?!

But what am I going to do without Glee every week?

kimplus4 · 13/06/2010 22:37

hello total gleek! i love it, just got the 3 soundtracks for the car and the kids love it too. had my 5 year old singing defying gravity and alone it was awsome!

VTrying · 14/06/2010 00:41

Have seen it. Lovely Lovely Lovely.
I cried. Sobbed in fact.
(All though for full disclosure I should also say that I am feeling very hormonal.)

lucykate · 14/06/2010 22:10

am pretty sure it's been on now, so guess it's not really spoiling it if i say...

loved it, bit that spoilt it for me was quinn's labour (how quick was that?!) and rachel's mum must have gone through adoption screenings super quick . loved the fact that they didn't win, would have been a cliche if they had, sobbed when they all sang to mr shu, and it showed sue with tears in her eyes in the background. can't wait for the second series, but going to watch it all over again online all summer

Ingles2 · 14/06/2010 22:28

Wasn't it good
I thought Quinn (or rather the actress playing her) was pretty good in that labour scene but the timescale was hilarious... the entire new directions managed to make it to the hospital and back again in time for the judging
and how old was that baby!?!?! Gorgeous though

Quinn's labour made it for me actually, probably the most realistic TV birth I've ever seen . Or am I alone in finding Bohemian Rhapsody just as hellish and interminable as childbirth?

I give Glee a lot of dramatic license. I just hope the next series can be as good.

ItalyLovingMummy · 15/06/2010 16:39

Ahh, just watched it (I Sky+ it last night) and really enjoyed it and glad it wasn't cliched. Sue has got a heart, but we knew that really didn't we.
