Am I the only person to hate the new vodaphone ad

The one with the oh so high powered businessman who leaves important client dinner to rescue his snivelling heart broken daughter.

It offends me on so many levels.

Hate it. I don't think it works - to me it's an advert for mobile phones in general not Vodafone.

I t just infuriates me so much because you can tell the ad agency wanted to convey a sensitive, caring father but actually, it just makes the girl look pathetic and ridiculous.

FFS, your father is busy, he has an important and well paid job which he is certainly not going to keep if he has to hot foot it every time you fall to pieces over your latest boyfriend who has discovered that you are a simpering non-entity.

First time I watched it I felt all soft about it because my own dads such a shit, but DD has a lovely dad who loves her.

Now after the 18th time DH just laughs while I rant at how the girls boyfriend clearly has the right idea because shes such a simpering loser twit and clearly has some Elektra complex!
I got laughed at in the cinema for ranting a leetle bit too loudly...
