I agree re John Hannah, imagine all the parts he is normally given and in this he is uber shagtastic nasty murdering scheming baddy. Lucy Lawless must enjoy Lucretia as well, I think she's a brilliant character, hard to decide who is worse, her or Batiatus.

I am quite looking forward to the prequel on next season with them actually, and I didn't think I would.

I almost stopped watching it after the first couple of episodes but it's improved mcuhly since then.... utterly craptastic

My DH loves this and i watch it over the top of the laptop whilst i am on here doing something productive. Jupiter's cock is our favourite new saying!

Oh good news if, like me, you utterly enjoyed this big old pile of toss; I have just watched the 6 part prequel (Spartacus: Gods of the Arena) and if anything it is even more over the top than the first series. The next series is in production at the moment.
