And actually if you want to make it in the style of gritty realism there are far more violent and unpleasant crimes caused by drug addiction than psychos abducting and killing women

Mrs McNulty that's it isn't it- I like a good crime drama but since when did I enjoy watching some tongue waggling psycho locking a woman up in a coffin and torturing her. I'm not sure how many people could watch that easily....I know it doesn't happen everyday but it terrified me...
