Louise's mum in 'stenders

can anyone remember what happened to Louise's mum in 'stenders (think her name was Louise Benjamin in real life, but can't recall the characters name - she was a whiney woman with curly hair).
Louise has been living with Phil for a bit, but I seem to have missed the episodes where it explained why she's not living with her mum.

Lisa ran off with Louise, she's coming back though.

Louise was dropped off on the square, there was no real explination, that is yet to come a la Eastenders, we'll be lucky to know before the olympics.

I thought I had missed this too - glad I haven't. I like the fact that they chose a little girl who looks a bit like Lisa.

Lisa (Louise's mum) would have done anything to avoid Louise having contact with Phil (Weak story line, IMO) but I'm glad Lucy Benjamin is coming back. Not quite sure why she was axed, BBC..do you hear me? She didn't leave because she wanted to!
