ok we'll believe you!

northerner · 03/08/2005 13:50

I've just sent an email to [email protected]

Let's all do it!

bundle · 03/08/2005 13:55

I sent one to [email protected]

Janbo25 · 03/08/2005 13:56

to be honest though it was after the watershed so whats the problem

northerner · 03/08/2005 13:57

I know it's after the watershed, but still, come on?

bundle · 03/08/2005 13:59

they got into a lot of trouble with people swearing and IMO this brings the programme into disrepute much more than a bit of bad language.

Janbo25 · 03/08/2005 14:00

yes i agree but if you swap channels you've got rubbish like eurotrash showing!

gingerbear · 03/08/2005 14:00

Why did they cut the stuff between Ant and Craig when Craig 'took advantage' of Ant's drunken state, but show Kinga and her bottle?

So what if it is past the Watershed, it was BB's nadir IMO.

oliveoil · 03/08/2005 14:00

did they actually show this?

I have never watched any of the BB shows but dh gets The Sun so they have a run down on who is who.

northerner · 03/08/2005 14:02

Yess OO they showed it. It was grim. And I'm no prune.

northerner · 03/08/2005 14:03

Oops. Should be prude! PMSL

emmatom · 03/08/2005 14:03

I just think that the producer or whoever it was who took the decision to screen it is vile.

Kinga is young and acts daft when drunk. Lots of people do. The producer could have decided not to show her activities.

Imagine what her family and friends must think. When she grows up and wises up I'm sure she won't thank them for it and heaven forbid her future children see it.

I sound like a right prude, which I'm not but the producers have turned one of my fave programmes of the moment into something disgusting.

she should take responsibility for her own actions though not bb

emmatom · 03/08/2005 14:09

Yes of course she should. But as stated, she is young and stupid when drunk.

I just think if I was part of the crew/producers whatever, watching the screens and saw that, I'd like to think I was decent enough to think that no-one would benefit from seeing what she got up to.

Janbo25 · 03/08/2005 14:10

i think it is her intention to do those things so she will be noticed when she gets out

starrynight · 03/08/2005 14:10

I decided to go to bed when Kinga was shoving her tit in Craigs face and a friend told me this morning what happened! I am agog. Can't believe it - and have never shoved a bottle up myself no matter how pissed i've been!!! I think that girl has major issues.

I can't believe that BB didn't stop it for safety reasons - she was pissed and falling about the place with a glass bottle up her vagina - hello, imagine if she had fallen over!!!

BTW what did Craig do to Anthony when he was drunk?? I missed that.

bundle · 03/08/2005 14:10

janbo, its the responsibility of the broadcaster to edit/screen what they broadcast in terms of taste, decency, plus they have a responsibility to people like Kinga who are in a vulnerable state (esp when plied with alcohol) on these programmes which they are desperate to win. imagine if a tv company tried to broadcast something which a mentally ill person did, it would be considered exploitative to them and us. to me this is similar.

oliveoil · 03/08/2005 14:14

What have the rest of the housemates said about it today?

(olive tries and fails to pretend she has no interest in this vile programme)

Janbo25 · 03/08/2005 14:16

agree to disagree

northerner · 03/08/2005 14:18

Not sure what the other have said. Craig was wetting himself laughing at the time though.

Any way, you don't watch BB. Get back to your slow cooker.

tiffini · 03/08/2005 14:22

At the end of the day, it is a t.v reality show, you do not know what you are going to see and there are no scripts.

All the housemates has signed away their rights to privacy.

It was shown after the watershed, no-one got hurt, and we all have the option to switch over.

Janbo25 · 03/08/2005 14:23
