I think it has been done really well actually, well, so far.

Incredibly harrowing to watch.

Lottie, I was wondering that too (just read through some press and Wikipedia from the time) but perhaps her relatives didn't want it to be emphasised in the drama? Her mother seems to have been very supportive of the efforts made by the filmmakers to be accurate, but perhaps she just felt this was too much information. It's not really a key detail, after all.

Brilliant drama - I've been rivetted for three evenings. Very, very upsetting.

(Did anyone else want to stand up and cheer for the Iceni drugs bloke at the police community meeting?)

Yes i did. Those policewomen did so well to support the girls getting off drugs too!

I thought this was very well done. Very moving and sensitive to the murdered women and their families.

I thought it was done really sensitively and focussed more on them as people rather than prostitutes. It pissed me off when it was reported that they were referred to as prostitutes. If I was killed or anyone else the media wouldn't say Munchkins the SAHM or xyz the Solicitor or zzz the Teacher. They weren't shown enough respect or humanity by the press after they were killed but this programme has done soemthing to redress that.
