Sophie has to be my Dorothy she just lights up the stage.

I still like Emilie and I think she looks so right for Dorothy. Stephanie stuck out for me from the 1st episode, she is great.

I think Jess is brilliant but so wrong for this part, so Jess to go next...

I agreet SATC that Jess needs to go, she doesnt seem right for the part somehow, but I think she would have been better as Maria or Nancy.

So, I think she should go tonight.

Am sobbing here. Mainly because Maybe This Time is such a fabulous and tragic song but also because that 16 year old gave it everything and looked sooooo gutted. Or maybe because I've already had 2 glasses of wine

Which was the other dorothy in the bottom two?

Felt Jess or the pretty blonde Scottish girl (forget her name) should have gone

Danielle was the other bottom one. I think her voice was better but no emotion in the song

Agree oxo, I expected Scottish Jenny to be in the bottom two. She wasn't very good last night with that Diana Ross number, and she fluffed her bit in the West Side Story group number

I feel that they really wring every bit of emotion out of them for that finale, I always have to hold back a tear, it doesn't matter who goes out, my heartstrings are pulled. How any of them can sing I do not know!

I would not have picked those 2 girls for the bottom and Danielle is actually very good.

It was a shame to see Danu go home, I was quite a fan. Her rendition of ?Home? last week had me in floods of tears, she was fantastic. I think Jessica should be the next to go, cannot warm to the girl, not sure why!

I want Stephanie ( the one from Merseyside) to win!

I'm amazed that ALW picked Dani to go: thought she was one of his favourites. Did he say that she needs to go to stage school to develop the necessary stamina yadda yadda yah like he said about Bronte last week?

Danielle is good but her performance (Could It Be Magic) last night was weak imho. I agreed with Christian off Eastenders John P's comment that she seems to be doing the same interpretation every week i.e. standard 'pained' expression.

Thought Jenny and Emilie would be bottom 2 with Emilie to go out.

I think Emilie is very sweet but not currently strong enough for the Dorothy role. She'd do a lot better to go to stage school and get the training and then be on the west end. She'll be fab when she's done that!

Agree about Emilie. I found her performance of Moon River really touching. But I can't see her coping with a major west end role at all.

Oh I thought Moon River was v weak. Mind you, it is one of my favourite songs and I love the understated way Audrey Hepburn sings it, so poor Emilie would have to be fab to have made me love her version.

I do feel for these girls though as many of the songs they are asked to sing are way beyond their comprehension in terms of emotion or experience. Like this evening's Maybe This Time which is such a beautiful and tragic song, full of longing and hurt and desire: I don't think any of these girls will have the faintest idea of the emotion behind it. Not at all their fault.

I think Dani is a bit young to take on this role. 8 shows a week is a massive commitment for someone that young - I think ALW may have had concerns about that.

Shame though she was way better than a few of the others.

I think Stephanie would be the best one to take on the role!!

Yes, I like Steph too. I hate what they make them do at the end!! I cant warm to the judges, only Charlotte Church. Maybe this Time was way too old for them. Cabaret is my favourite musical.

theres two of all of them!! Steph, as soon as I saw her surname I knew her father was in some naff 80's band I knew!! parents reminded me of that other couple, you know who i mean, one of them is David Grant from Imagination. Showing my age now!

It's not David Grant from Imagination-it's some bloke from Galaxy and her Mum had some 90's dance single.
