carol jackson...wtf has she got to do with bradley? why is she so devestated, thought she was bianca's mother?

and wasn't pat an alcoholic once upon a time? Didn't she run someone over or something. I have wondered this when i have seen her with a drink her hands and i am sure she used to be an alcoholic once upon a time.

She gave up drinking after running over a girl, who died, when she and Frank had the cab firm. She was over the limit. Have no idea if she was meant to have an alcohol problem before it though.

So if then Ian pretended he was Stephen's Dad, but David was Simon's half brother, and Ian's half brother, what does that make Stephen?

I think that Ian not being Simons half brother is the key. Pete Beale only thought he was Simons father. Simon was fathered by Pats affair with her BIL (Petes brother). So Simon is Ians cousin so Stephen was only some sort of cousin to Ian.

Am willing to stand corrected (and relieved) if any of this is wrong though

Kind-hearted Alan gave the Jackson family some much needed stability. He loved and cared for Carol's children as if they were his own. Their relationship did not go so smoothly however. Carol's stubborn and nagging nature eventually drove him into the arms of another woman.

I expect, given that biaaaaaanca and rickeeeeeey got it together again, that Alan will show, hook up with Carol again, they will Fall In Love, after setting Billy and Whitney straight, or after they run into the sunset after declaring that they Love Each Other and that it is ok even though they are related as they are not really related.

I vaguely remember Dan meeting a sticky end at the hands of Steve Owen (Martin Kemp). Didn't he kidnap Melanie too?

Sorry if this is a dumb question (missed a couple of episodes) but why wasn't Stacey at the funeral - is she in custody? Or receiving treatment? And how on earth did they film all this before the 'live' episode if it's normally all three months in advance (and it was snowing - when did it last snow round Elstree??).

she ran off after seeing bradley's dead body at the morgue place. Hasn't been seen since- unless it was all in the 1 episode I missed..

That was why her mum was filming the funeral I think.

They must've filmed the funeral and all the aftermath a few months before he 'died' as it's around 2-3 months in advance I think.

Stacey's done a runner because she's so cut up about Bradley (at least that's why she thinks she's run off, we know it's partly that but partly because she feels guilty about having killed Archie and Bradley taking the rap for it). So that's why she wasn't at the funeral.

They could have filmed all this before the live episode because they're all working on the basis that Bradley killed Archie, but they don't know who actually did it (ie if Bradley or someone else confessed to it in the live episode). I think the way they've done it is very clever.

Maybe they put that little scene in at the wake - ie the announcement that the rozzers think it was Bradley/Peggy walking out - in at the last minute.

Can I just say it wasn't the guy who played Alan that was in casualty the other week it was Gary Beadle the guy who played Paul Trueman, Patrick's son.

Billy Jackson is played by the same character that played him when he was little.. Devon Anderson..he used to be in a kids programme called kerrching and my 19 year old daughter had a massive crush on him!

I like the fact that Ricky and Bianca have just got (re)married and Pat is Ricky's stepmum (married to his dad Frank) but also Bianca's nan (mum of David Wicks, Bianca's dad). She is therefore Courtney's stepgran and simultaneously her great-gran! And she is Bianca's gran and also her step-mother-in-law and Ricky's stepmum and also his grandmother-in-law. Where in RL does that happen?

(except in my ILs family where my MiL's sister is married to my FiL's cousin. V )
