Nooooo - Avatar is a FANTASTIC film. PC gone mad that the HurtLocker / director won it IMO!

The effects in Avatar were good but the film on the whole left me a bit cold. It was arse-numbing too! I just didn't feel anything for the characters except maybe Sigourney Weaver. The leading man was Blandy McBlandy!

I am glad to see Kathryn Bigalow has won it. She's a great director. Near Dark is one of my all time favourite films.
