Just turned it on and am shocked! There is a 12-year-old girl who will not go out of the house without a full face of make-up (that takes 2 hours to put on!) as she feels so bad about the way she looks... It's so sad... Her mum is devastated. And she is such a gorgeous little thing too! On one hand, I think her mum isn't helping things by allowing her to buy make-up, wear nail polish and spend hours looking at fashion/gossip mags but on the other hand, the mum obviously feels out of control... Any views?

Just watched it and to be fair it was only the first boy he got up first, all the other ones he moved once they did.

What is it with those beauty queen mothers that keep parading their dcs from one reality show to the next, they just come out looking awful! But I suppose any publicity is good publicity

I just don't think I can watch these programmes anymore. the parents are so incredibly...... i can't think of a word.
stupid. is the only word for it.
its not proper parenting. none of these people have ever said no to their child. the child who won't sleep in her bed. i was so weak. i never said no to her before.
I still can't get over it. people are so stupid. it is basic. parenting means loving. and loving means saying no. this basic basic rule seems to have escaped every single person that goes on the programme.
but how can that have happened?
even i can accept that i don't know what a portion size is re pizza. but to never have said no to your child before. never. i mean COME ON.

and they all sit there and say, i've tried everything. err no, you haven't. you haven't even implemented the first basic rule.
