Does it look as if the actress who plays Ruby is pregnant?

I very much enjoyed them singing a Show Of Hands song as they reaped t'other day.

We play Lark Rise bingo in this house. You have to spot Alf singing, Laura wobbling her head and looking earnest, Dorcas interfering, Robert saying pride with a clenched fist, Twister doing something he shouldn't, Minnie getting a chore wrong, Ruby and/or Pearl sneering, Thomas praying, Thomas' Forgettable Wife wringing her hands.

Full house.

Yeah, this series has been pretty disappointing. I thought the episode before the measles one was really strong; but this latest one (the Tom Conti one) was choppy and cliched. Don't really like the "feel" of episodes with a big guest star ... everything has to be too neatly resolved with a Lesson Learned, and it's all too pat.

And yeah, every week there has to be a Timmins couply misunderstanding of some sort, resolved with a speech from one or both of 'em about their relationship ... and I'd noticed the absence of Nan too.

Some really good actors on there, though. Ruby, Pearl, Minnie and also Queenie are all very good, whatever you think of the actual show. And Thomas's wife, actually.

Victoria Hamilton is pg btw according to a friend of mine who saw her in rl a while ago.

There are some great actors on there. Thomas' wife is good, I can never remember her name though. Um. Margaret! That was hard work.

It is proper Sunday viewing isn't it? I watched it at my parents' house last week and my Dad piped up halfway through and said 'is this crap?' It is, but it's good crap.

I think it´s getting a bit "schmaltzy".

But I think it´s an hour pleasantly passed.

I love Lark Rise Bingo.

It always seems to be Summer and the villagers are so 'poor but 'appy' dancing about in the sunshine. It's England, it's not always that sunny!

I feel sorry for Margaret being married to Thomas. He's soooo stupid.
