Yes she was upset when Shaun took the kids to another country (which I understood cos he's a pig) but it's ok when she does it .

Mayron · 07/02/2010 21:13

Thanks both. Oh well that's the end of Jessica and Adam ! Bit strange about the whole 'shaun not saying goodbye to his kids' thing though. Never miss an episode of Casualty (sky plus!!!) - but don't watch Holby?!? Will give Casualty @ Holby a try next week.

LilyLovesSid · 08/02/2010 08:58

Why can't they just let a couple be happy for a little while? I know they have to all dramatic and whatever, but can there not just be one couple who actually stay together?

Also Adam is lovely, but I am a teeny bit distracted by his ears. They're massive!

It isn't anything to do with them looking alike, as they don't! It was ages ago when he was new and talking about not knowing his Dad to others, the way he wanted to impress him and the way he looked at him (NJ).

It was a jsut a hunch I got but am probably completely wrong!

saggyhairyarse · 08/02/2010 13:47

I am a bit about the Jessica and Adam storyline. There was really no reason for it to end in tragedy and the way it did. They had their dramas (the way they met, the affiar, her taming him, leaving her husband, the kids being taken away, paternity issue etc etc). Why not leave them be once those dramas were resolved and refocus on another couple like Jay and Ruth or May and Yuki or find Zoe someone.

It just seemed a bit lame at the end and trying too hard for it not to work out. I don't believe many mothers would uproot their children when their sibling had died and they were involved in a serious accident quite so quickly!

Casualty writers, must try harder next time!!!!!

anniebear · 09/02/2010 14:59

How silly was Saturdays, as if she would just go like that

Bucharest · 09/02/2010 17:56

How silly that Adam (who is mine all mine btw) would ever have fancied mealy-mouthed silly little Jessica anyway! Pah!

The most ridiculous storyline ever was when the security at the airport didn't stop Shaun with the kids with her wailing and screaming. Mind, probably thought they deserved a break from her.

Had very surreal experience this week of opening my 3rd year English kids' textbook and finding fugly Louis staring up at me. Isn't he long overdue something fatal occurin'?

scampadoodle · 09/02/2010 18:21

I always find it amazing how characters in these programmes can always just up sticks at a moment's notice - leave jobs, organise kids, pack - in order to change their lives. Nobody EVER has to work out their notice do they? How could Jessica have possibly sorted everything out in ONE HOUR. Pah! She is annoying though so I'm glad she's gone.

Agree about Louis, the teenage son from hell.

Pixel · 09/02/2010 20:27

I agree good riddance to Jessica.

But what about poor old Charlie? Wonder what his doctor's appointment was for?

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/02/2010 08:28

apparently holby+casulaty are interlinked soon

dmo · 10/02/2010 14:05

yes linked this saturday and tuesday like it whan thay do that

saggyhairyarse · 10/02/2010 14:46

Will look forward to that. I've watched Casualty since the 1st episode, how old/sad am I!!!!

Bucharest · 10/02/2010 15:38

Saggy, me too, and when dd was 10 weeks old she would start rocking about to the Casualty theme music.

Do you remember Duffy's really broad oooh-aaarrrr West country accent in the beginning?

Pixel · 13/02/2010 22:54

Charlie . Hope he's ok.

Will I be forced to give in and watch Holby City to find out though?

OhYouBadBadKitten · 13/02/2010 22:59

holby is ok.

saggyhairyarse · 13/02/2010 23:18

Bucharest Yes! She was Pam Eyres!

pranma · 14/02/2010 20:10

Does anyone know what exam results the young docs got?Did they all pass?

Pixel · 14/02/2010 21:14

Yes all three passed, but none of the 'others' did, apparently. No, I didn't realise there were any others either until they walked out of the office looking sad!

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/02/2010 12:14

not suprised they failed - they are never in scenes or do any work

poor charlie
