I know I am woefully out of date, but can we have a thread about how swoonsome DT is in Blackpool?

I used to think he was hideous to look at, but his personality more than makes up for it. He should have been the Doctor forever.

I don't fancy him as the Dr but Blackpool is another story. Ahem.

Nah he doesn't do it for me at all. Seems like a fab guy but just too skinny and weasely-faced for me.

I prefer David Morrissey in Blackpool

When I posted I was only half way through the series, when DT was at his most swoonsome, but by the end I'd gone off his character a bit. Was a bit ambivalent about Peter and Natalie ending up together.

I think that, despite it being quite strange indeed in places, it was very true in that either way, Natalie wasn't go to have an entirely happy ending.

Mr Morrissey was fabulous too (as ever).

David Morrisey was brilliant. I loved how he could be a complete prick in one scene, then totally soften when looking at Natalie or his kids, or talking to the guy outside the casino about how to get god to forgive him.

I guess with Natalie she was just repeating the same mistakes in her relationships, which so many of us do.

But anyway, back to David Tennant . He definitely got me somewhat hot and bothered in the first few episodes. I didn't find him attractive as the Doctor either.

Totally agree with that (except maybe for the minor technicality of sleeping with DT being a "mistake" )
