I love the way Hilary Jones appears in the voting list as "Dr Hilary". Of what possible relevance is his medical degree in this particular context? Or am I missing some subtle point of etiquette and should I have been addressing all my medic friends thus even when down the pub?

I noticed that LGP, and that he introduced himself as Doctor Hilary. I suspect he insists on being called 'Dr' in all circumstances. Possibly due to insecurity having sold his soul to the devil that is GMTV.
