Guardian's top 50 TV series ever - Sopranos at No1

Here.

I can't believe how much I've forgotten (Clocking Off, House of Cards) and how much I've missed (Oranges are not the only fruit, State of Play, The Wire). And I think The West Wing should be higher up the list - can't believe Peculiar Practice made No 5. What do you reckon?

The most amazing thing about that list is how low down The Wire is - they're all OBSESSED with it at the Guardian.

I'd forgotten all about Our Friends in the North, loved it. Oranges are not the Only Fruit and Twin Peaks were big favs too.

Can't remember A very Peculiar Practice.

I'm going to have to catch up with The Wire, everybody raves about it, but it was on too late for me when it was on BBC last year.

Sopranos was very good though, well the first two or three series at least.

Oooh Oz sounds good!

Yes, The Wire is on my Must Get Round To It list. And I might have to track down State of Play.

And what about Lost? Or Heroes? Or Doctor Who?

The Sopranos was excellent all the way through imo.

Glad to see Buffy made it.

A Very Peculiar Practice? Was this the thing with Peter Davidson?

West Wing should have been higher up.
