There's definitely something about that postcard then isn't there - stating the obvious there aren't I.

Don't get how that can be linked.

MistleSnail · 12/01/2010 22:29

The main pharmaceutical boss guy on screen said "Hope never dies" - obv some dodgy corporation thingy doodah going on.....

BonjourIvressedeNoel · 12/01/2010 22:29

I hope its going to get better...was a bit strung out today...

thegrammerpolicesic · 12/01/2010 22:42

That's what PJ/ Greg had on his postcard isn't it?

mumof2teenboys · 13/01/2010 07:56

We thought that the numbers on the back of the postcard were map co-ordinates.

Could be wrong though!

teenyweenytadpole · 13/01/2010 08:13

I enjoyed it, found it quite gripping! I do think they all look implausibly healthy and well groomed though (clean clothes etc). Also have always been bemused by the lack of rotting bodies strewn around the place - at the beginning of series 1 people were dropping like flies but what happened to all the bodies - maybe the dogs ate 'em??

memoo · 13/01/2010 08:22

what bugs me is that they burnt down the hospital without having the sense to get all the medicines and stuff out first. Surely it would occur to someone that they might well need them at some point.

abra1d · 13/01/2010 08:34

I went off Abby when she said they'd have to live 'off of the land'.

It may be cataclysmic; there may be limited food and water and gangs of marauders around, but there is no excuse for poor grammar.

OrmIrian · 13/01/2010 08:34

bramblebooks - I wondered that. They all look so clean and so do their clothes (once they had stopped rolling around in fallen masonry)

abra1d · 13/01/2010 08:38

Sarah's mac looked suspiciously pristine.

Jacaqueen · 13/01/2010 09:32

I think this could be yet another case of trying too hard to pad out each episode to get a 2nd series. It could go on and on like Lost.

I think that the guy who got shot, Greg is it, well his wife and kids have gone away to the island on the postcard with her boyfriend. The wife said he was a civil servant. I too think the numbers are map coordinates. That will be the same place as all the other important people are staying until the vaccine has been found.

bramblebooks · 13/01/2010 11:13

The house wasn't Greg's was it? I lost the plot there somewhat.
I reckon the numbers are the lock codes so that they can bust Sarah out of there.

I got a bit bored in the middle of this ep, to be honest.

The whole Greg thing moving around so nimbly when he was supposedly on the verge of death was annoying, as was the miraculous removal of both of them from the rubble (especially as I'm watching footage of the earthquake in Haiti this morning).

And next storyline is clearly going to Sarah being pregnant ...

I think the whole move towards a conspiracy theory has taken too long to get to.

(But I will still be glued to it next time!)

WeWantYourDoofDoofs · 13/01/2010 13:50

I don't think I will be watching it any more, it wasn't great.

JeffVadar · 13/01/2010 14:03

I also found it quite boring. I thought the first series was better; but neither can compare with the original 70s series, which was one of my fave programmes ever!

BecauseImWorthIt · 13/01/2010 14:21

And mine, Jeff! I used to find myself trying to work out what I would do in those circumstances, and how I would get back to my family in the North, from the South!
