Aw no I missed it

PfftTheMagicDragon · 22/01/2010 14:39

No, McDreamy, you just didn't see it!

I love the first series of this and now it has gone down the shitter. De-Walkering Rebecca was a massive mistake, IMO, made to get Justin and Rebecca together and now they can't ever split them up otherwise Emily Vancamp would be off the show.

Some of the stories are so far fetched and completely off kilter with the show and stories so far it's ridiculous. And Ryan Lafferty needs shooting.

bronze · 22/01/2010 15:57

I missed the second one
luckily I found the repeat

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/01/2010 18:35

mcdreamy - it is repeated again on more 4 (138) mon 25 at 11.05 pm as well as 4am tuesday 26

SherriHewsonsNipple · 22/01/2010 18:36

WHO THINKS rebecca nd justin just ARENT mathced?!

woodforthetrees · 22/01/2010 22:18

You can also catch up on channel 4 on demand which is what I'd doing - DH can't bear any more greys/B&S and the like !! So I watch on laptop with earphones and he catches upon sky sports....!

kittya · 23/01/2010 09:31

yes, they are a couple in RL, remember thirtysometing? they were in that too. This is a very similar show.

This is probably irrelevant but Ive often wondered, are the Walkers supposed to be a Jewish family? cos Saul clearly is so the mum must be, which means the children are. Im sure Ive seen them celebrating Christmas or, maybe I imagined it. I just wondered if it had ever been mentioned.

Im loving this series but I wish they would get rid of Rebecca, she comes accross as a brat at times.

compo · 23/01/2010 09:38

crikes I was sobbing all the through the calista Flockhart bits

nulgirl · 23/01/2010 19:44

kittya - what surgery has Rob Lowe admitted too. Watched it this week and kept thinking his face looked different and a bit wrong. The haircut also seemed a bit young for him. How disappointing

MrsJamin · 23/01/2010 19:59

Ah this series is good (I'm up to date with the states).

MelonCauli · 23/01/2010 20:08

Rob Lowe is leaving B&S later this season see here

It says they may divorce.

I love Calista Flockhart's character. I was holding back the tears.

kittya · 24/01/2010 09:54

I wouldnt be surprised if she did divorce him, hes too ambitious. Calista was very Ally Macbeal in the first series but now she has come into her own and I think shes fantastic also.

I think it was on Jonathon Ross when he said about the surgery - defo eyelift I would say.

diddl · 24/01/2010 16:01

I loathe the Kitty character.

I think this might be the series I give up on.

BigBadMummy · 24/01/2010 19:03

Just seen this thread and wanted to add my "I love it" vote.

The world stops when this is on. Nobody is allowed to talk to me and my phone gets ignored.

Love it love it love it.

orangina · 24/01/2010 19:17

I LOVED it. Blubbed like a baby at the end....

(I don't want Kitty and Robert to Not Work.... )

merrymonsters · 25/01/2010 12:08

In answer to Kittya's question. I think Nora and Saul are Jewish and William Walker was some kind of Christian (Irish Catholic maybe) so they celebrate Christmas. I think it was mentioned once how the parents were different religions.

The show is a bit of a soap opera, but the acting is really good.

I really like Scotty, but I don't know how he puts up with Kevin.

I'm a little worried that I like the same show as my MIL. She likes it because they don't swear.

kittya · 25/01/2010 16:24

I have to admit their constant putting each other on speaker phone I find quite tedious and, even childish. I adore Scotty but Kevin, you just want to punch him!! The brother who ran off can stay there and take Juatin and Rebecca with him!! I love all the women though, especially Sarah (btw, has she just had a baby in RL?). Do you know what I love most about them? the way they bloody well drink!!! It makes such a change to see Americans on tv necking the wine, one of them always has a glass in their hand. Just watching it makes me want to reach for a bottle!! MM I think you are right about the mixed marriage, maybe those regular dinners they have are a nod to Friday nights. Rebeccas parents both are in RL. I do find at times it tries to be Woody Allenish but never gets there, and is all the better for it. Im really looking forward to The Good Wife tonight also. I may never go out again!!

satc2bringiton · 30/01/2010 18:32

Another great episode this week, loved the ending when Sarah came back.

How good was last night's episode? It got a bit typically schmaltzy towards the end but thought it was really funny how they all went round to watch Luke in the pool.

satc2bringiton · 13/02/2010 15:53

Yeah them all laughing and fighting on the bed - just everyday life in my house when my mum and sister pop over

Luke is very yummy
