I quite like Winkelman. As token totty goes, she's one of the better choices.

And Claudia not just totty, she has a degree in History of Art from Oxford (or Cambridge - can't remember which!)

I saw a bit of the 2008 quiz they showed again the other night and they had Davina McCall on as well as Claudia. Irritating as there was a clip with Jon Snow which set Claudia off into a "Oh, ,I'd give him one" which Davina joined in with. The - practically all very unattractive guys then mused on Snow having a twosome with Claudia and Davina - and yes she is Oxbridge and Davina has a brain - so why do they portray themselves like this??? Surely there are other women they could get on or maybe, as Jo Brand said of Mock the Week, it's just a very male format?

Agree that Russell Brand not funny and Jimmy Carr cannot host quiz shows.

CB really does come across as a thoroughly nice man, doesn't he.

Previous two years much funnier - thought it was a shame DM and CB pretty much drowned out by the two RBs.

I had been muttering about Carr's laugh for ages before they finally mentioned it It does seem to be his real laugh - they did an ad for 8 out of 10 cats afterwards and I heard it in that too.

RB baffles me. Why do women find that attractive?? He is like DS on a fruit shoot.

Winkleman has grown on me, but I would cut off the fringe.

I didn't think it was that good this year, ended up switching off after about 20 minutes. I might catch other bits of it in repeats though. 2006 was the best one - the one with Russell Brand and Noel Fielding on one team. Have never really liked RB but teamed with Noel he was quite entertaining. Last year also good with Michael MacIntyre.
