The kids are lovely but jamie is definatly going poncetastic.

Well I thought it was great. I didn't think he was at all smug. There were lots of good recipes and helpful tips. Beat Delia's Christmas programme last week hands down.

I love Jamie too, thought his baby was sweet. Love the 'overstyled' house (yeah, like Jools puts up all those decs). His food always looks great. Wish he would wash his hands a bit more though

I love Jamie's dad though I bet he reads the Daily Mail.
I thought his little girls were going to be annoying but they were lovely.
Hugh also puts his children on his programmes - the last River Cottage had them going fishing with him to make fishfingers.

Did anyone else finds Jules really annoying?

Why was she in the Kitchen? Agree that Petal was very cute (shame about the name poor kid).

Was it an advertisement for his family?

Next thing Jules will be doing her own show.....

I was quite struck by Jules's comment that the gravy by itself was as good as a whole roast dinner. No wonder she's thin.

I have to agree that Jamie will be the next one caught out, you just watch. Im still loving the F word though, theres something about Gordon, you can keep Jamie!!

After seeing the one last night with his nephews I REALLY REALLY want him to do a children's cooking programme.
Does anyone else agree?

btw when Jules came in with the baby after Jamie was talking about how important good gravy was dh and I both chorused 'Nooo! Don't put the baby in the gravy!'

FYI hugh does put his kids in the programmes, they ahve the same hair as him

Have never really rated Jamie but think the xmas pud strudel is a fab idea.

He is a bit annoying but I just love his food so much. My Naked Chef books are falling apart from so much use.

I agree he was lovely with his nephews

On a more boring note, I really admire the work he does with his 15 restaurants.

Also, Jools is defintely NOT the worlds biggest gravy fan - that is DS, who is obsessed
