Have come to this late as only just watched it on Sky+. So have the following to say (apologies if these things have been said 8 million times )

What happened with the backing track?
What the fuck was Brian doing: auditioning for a job as a Circus ringmaster?
Dannii won the fashion dress-off overall.
Joe won for his wonderful voice, but Olly is the one we'd all shag.

Oh just thank god they didn't have that hideous group song with all the awful auditionees this year - that always made me want to hit something.

i dont remember seeing jedward in the final twelve song thingy, but i was flitting in and out of kitchen.

You are right though, Olly definately had the shag factor

I wonder who genuinely "chooses" the songs?

I expect each judge/mentor has a team of musical consultants working with them. I can't imagine Cheryl Cole even being aware of "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey, good choice though it was!
