Gavin and Stacey.... good but not as good?

I saw it last night and I do really enjoy it but it feels a bit more forced now, still very enjoyable though.
I love Nessa. Rob Brydon steals it every time though.

It wasn't just waterworks though, it was that fear that she might not be able to have them

Last nights episode was AMAZING.

Loved Stacey and the girl in the pharmacy.

Love that Gav is the only one that notices the total insanity around him.

Love Neil, the baby.

Love it all. Fab fab fab.

flame I understand the fear... until 4 weeks ago I had exactly the same. However, I've never tried to trick anyone in to fatherhood and I'm shocked by that!

I loved Uncle Bryn hugging fingers... was that a look of love or what?

Also loved that one of the Essex boys had his feet in a Babyliss footbath thing at Uncle Bryn's too!

I'm finding Stacey really annoying now, especially after last night's little stunt.

I went off her rapidly when she appeared, in RL, in Celebrity Adrenaline Junkie and was a complete PITA.

In Rl the actress seems annoying I have to agree, and the character is as well, but then I am easy to annoy

DH was saying same thing last night. Not as good this series, but still fun to watch.

Think it has run out of steam a little. Still worth watching just not quite as good.

But one thing I don't understand - the whole
Owain Hughes - no he doesn't? I just don't get it. Can anyone explain? Or is there nothing to get?

Stacey has got very annoying! I love Nessa and Gavins mum also Pete and Dawn.

I don't think it is "owe wayne" - I went to agri college with a bunch of gogs (north waleians) and Owain is one of their names... it would never sound like Wayne - and Wayne just isn't a Welsh (north) name.

I agree with others, this series isn't as good as the very first one. I do feel they are trying too hard (esp James Corden) with their lines.

Stacey is seriously thick as a character which I think makes her all the more amusing. I like the bit in the first episode of the current series when she said ' I think it's because of the depression' and her mum corrects her 'you mean recession' and Stacey said 'yeah that's what I said' in regards to her struggling to find a job.

I shall continue to watch it, am totally addicted!

I loved Pete last week. Everyone else looked "merry", Pete looked like he'd been on a 3 day bender!

I think this series is just as good as the others, if not better!

Stacey is a bit annoying, but I think she has been since the start. She was especially annoying in the ep when she was trying to get Gav upstairs, when he just wanted to see his family for a bit.

I think Gavin and Stacey are the weaker characters- she is very annoying with her dependency on G. Loved the bit in the chemists with the girl.
For me, it's Uncle Bryn, Doris and Gavin's parents neighbours who are the best.
And I love Nessa's throwaway comments about men she has shagged "John Nettles- dirty boy".
