I thought months ago that Darren was the dad, but told myself that the storyline wouldnt pan out like that cos it was just wrong.

Have been trying to analyse whether its because its an older woman/young man it seems so wrong, or because its a not very attractive woman, & I dont think its either, its just distasteful full stop - and would still be the same if it was a more attractive woman of similar age (think of it being Jane for example) or if it was an much older man/young girl

He's not 17 though - am fairly sure he's meant to be 18, as weren't he & Libby in the same school year (& she had her 18th birthday in the summer) - doesnt make much difference though.

The look of complete shock and disbelief on Darren's face was actually filmed when the producer told him that he was the father of Heather's baby, so not much acting required
