I'm wondering if because Cheryl and Dannii seemed to get away with bringing up what was said about KandyRain in the papers (i.e. that they were strippers) that she got a big cocky and thought she could also get away with talking about Danyl's sexuality which had also been in the papers.

Loving Stacey....she is SOOOOO sweet and totally hilarious!
Surprised there aren't any comments in the text ticker on ITV2 about Danni??? Some serious censorship going on I suspect?

I don't think it's about her outing him. It's about making a snide comment about his sexuality "if what's written in the press is to be believed you needn't have changed the gender," and then repeating it... what's joky about that?

All part of the soap, the story. Danyl knows the score, he has probably helped write it.

Danni's comment was so cringeworthy, regardless of what he has said publicly about his sexuality. She made herself look rude and bitchy.

Anyway -

I think sexuality is a private thing. If you choose to talk about it - then fair play. It's still no one else's bloody business, certainly not on a scale of this magnitude when 10 million viewers most likely haven't read that News of the World article.

This issue is close to my heart so I'm backing out now, but I think the show was great tonight apart from the last 5 minutes.

Dannii is not exactly renowned for her sense of humour. She was being catty not jokey.

Don't think for a minute that Dannii meant anything other than 'be who you are' Don't think for a minute she is homophobic or anything- but ill judged, definitely.

Shouldn't think anyone cares about Danyl's sexuality one way or another.

I just hate that Cliff Richard thing he does with his face when he sings.

The Cole-bot obviously had its sim-card in tonight though, as it used a five-syllable word! "Au-then-ti-ci-ty." Imagine the scene at home tonight:

"Haway, ah said 'authenticity' t'night Ashleeee."

"Wot? Shurrup. Lost 1-0 ter fuckin' Ukraine innit."

I always remember Richard Madeley saying on air that she was the rudest nastiest guest they'd ever had on This Morning.

I don't read tabloid papers so Danyl being bi-sexual was news to me. Not that I care, couldn't give a toss. The point I am trying to make is she did out him on National TV.

Dannii's remark was unprofessional, unkind and unnecessary. I've complained about it too.

Are people really complaining? I am a voracious complainant myself but this seems really scripted to me.
