I have thought the opinions from Cheryl and Danni have been a load of bollocks this evening.
If I was Daniel I would be highly unimpressed considering both have such week, insignificant voices. These gal's need a reality check.

oh thank god i found this thread - just fired up the computer to check out the Danni comment. Knew mumsnet would help! What was she on about? Is she really really thick, or did she really just refer to newspapers guessing if he is gay? (I hadn't seen anything like that, so am guessing).

I'm gobsmacked by what she just said - and picked up my laptop to find out if anyone else thought the same! I see I wasn't alone - what a cow. And I thought I was going to like her a bit more this year.

She read the papers (probably knows one way or the either anyway), and decided to bring it up live on show to a) knock him and b) sway the morons who are actually stupid enough not to vote for a gay bloke.

Did Danyl say "I'm not ashamed"? DP thought he'd said "I'm not gay". Haven't read the papers, don't know if he is out, or gay or not or whatever.

Dannii should be ashamed of herself.

Well something has to happen which will be controversial and newsworthy on every show, but its shame that Dannii's comment will be it for this week.

I think Danyl is very likeable. So he's confident? He wouldn't be a great performer if he wasn't confident.
The twins are cocky- they have no talent but believe they do whereas Danyl knows he's got talent. He's great.
