Has anybody seen Baby Room - we might be getting filmed

Has anybody seen this programme? Apparently we have women in our area who have volunteered for the programme. Anna Ryder richardson decorates a nursery and the parents are followed prior, during and after the birth. We have been asked to to sign forms if we don't mind participating. Most of the midwives are not keen I have to say. Filming of the birth experience will be from the waist up. Would you volunteer as a prospective new mum?

Personally I wouldn't want to be filmed giving birth, am actually kinda worried as Derby City is my nearest hospital and they're now the subject of desperate midwives.....may go to Nottm City with the next one if that is the case!

i voluneteed for a doula programme. unfortunatly they couldnt match with a doula in time. that would have been filming the birth etc.

they've been showing births on tv for years but can't say I'd put myself in the frame (if I was still of child bearing age ). Suppose if want a brand spanking new nursery, why not?

I've always wondered how you get to do those shows. Apart from being pregnant obviously.

Isn't it on Discovery Health? There's a different woman doing it though, unless is a different programme on another channel.

Watche dit tonight on vidoe. was quite good. Hardly any filmng of staff really. can reassure my colleagues they will not have a staring part if they agree to be filmed. Am taping another one toniht. Who knows, I might be on duty when the film crew arrives

Frizbe my sister just had a fab birth experience at Derby City - not at all like any I have seen on the show! She wasn't even in one of their seemingly 'standard' rooms but in one with mattress on floor, bean bag, birth ball, pole, etc. I'm hoping this room will make an appearance on the show so I can see it, having not accompanied her.

its on discovery home and health with andrea mafflin(sp?).
havent seen the other one but there's no way i'd let a video camera near me.
