If anyone is watching, why on God's earth has 'Miss J' decided to model himself on Dwayne Dibbly?

oooh i love it too, although i do hate tyra, she is going crazy, and she started to get really patronizing a few years back which is just getting worse and worse, Nigel is lovely mmmmmm and seems still down to earth, love mr j to, miss j is just odd. Also didn't like mckay (is that how you spell it) last winner, i like the french one and her long haired friend that was in the final 3

I love the two js. I find some of Nigel's comments a bit odd - he really doesn't like the girls to have a sense of humour does he? I also hate the way they try and break people down and then eliminate them for being too cold/weak etc.

That's one of the funniest things about it - my sis and I always joke about it - it's like

contestant #1 = oh I think she wants it TOO MUCH*

contestant #2 = I just don't think she wants it ENOUGH** where the difference between not enough and too much = wafer thin and entirely down to their own gut feelings about the girl and whether she is worthy, of course!

LOVE IT! totally superficial, up its own arse with its own importance. Tyra singing the song for struggling would be models the world over (sometimes quite literally). Tyra's shameless self-adoration. What's not to love?!

And you can tell immediately when someone has chased their chips with something they've done/said can't you?

I love ANTM and have V+ed the series. I think I am a few episodes behind though, need to catch up...

The only bit I don't like is when they talk about the prizes and the judges EVERY single week. Yawn!

Love it - watch them all (Canada, Australia, Britain...) Watching the petite one at the moment and Tyra is sooo over the top it's cringeworthy. Love Miss Jay though. I also like Project Runway, oh dear, I need to get a life!

For those of you who watch the British one, wtf are 'Huggy's' lips all about? They are a bit scary and not at all attractive! I actually quite like the Aussie version as it is so much less froufrou than the American one. They don't use so much of the made up fashion bullshit language. No 'inner fierceness' in Oz. "Inner fierceness" - It really is a load of toss isn't it?!

I love this but haven't seen any of the current series - just reruns during the day on Living when ds3 is asleep.

I love Miss J and Mr Jay, think they're great. Glad Twiggy has gone tbh, got bored of her saying "the camera LOVES you ..." and not much else. And I do wish Tyra would stop the whole "you are still in the running ...." thing every time.

Favourite contestant ever: Danielle, one of the winners (season 5-ish?) - absolutely gorgeous.

Least favourite contestant ever: Mckey - she just seemed to stand there with a dopey look on her face all the time.

Danielle - Was she the one who did the fabulous photo shoot on the elephant when she was really ill? If so, then she was indeed gorgeous. I did love Yoanna from season 2, well I thought she was amazingly beautiful, don't remember much about her as a person as it was so long ago now.......

Yes! That was Danielle - that elephant picture sticks in my mind too - and I know it shouldn't matter either but she seemed a nice, normal girl.

I watch all the ANTM, its my favourite programme. Although I pretty much watch most cheese on the telly.

I love the way that Tyra always steers attention back to herself. No matter which contestant has had a hard life - Tyra's always had it harder .

I love ANTM.I also agree with Verygreenlawn that the best winner was Danielle. My dh supposedly 'hates' the show but sits there ogling all the pretty girls. The makeover shows are the best, especially when they start snivelling because they hate their new look.
I will not hear a bad word about Tyra she is brilliant. I like the way she has used her experience in the fashion world to make a thoroughly entertaining show.

i hated cycle 12 i think it was when everytime they had that thing about tyra helping little girls find their inner fierceness or some such rubbish. what wank. did I mention i love it?

I'm watching the series on Living just now - An very about one of the girls who was in the front row at 'panel' she had shorts on and what seemed to be incredibly bandy legs. did anyone else notice this? I found it ver distracting. i couldn't decide if it was the way she was standing or not, but either way, not 'fierce' at all!

Well, I have had to break my no-more-Mn-tonight rule to talk about what just happened - this is cycle 12 I think.

OMFG Celia!!!! Crazy crazy woman! And the look on her face when she realised that Tyra was not in the least interested in her meddling was priceless. I bet the room collectively sucked in their breath when she stood up and said that. I think Thalia is so sweet and normal - okay she is homesick and unhappy but she got the best picture that week FFS!!!

Celia totally cashed her chips. You never never question the judges on ANTM. It marks you down as arrogant and makes them want to break you down before eliminating you. It's a shame as I think Celia is quite good but I don't think she will last long after that.

Who the hell is Paulina by the way? for someone to count as a supermodel, my criteria is that I have to at least recognise them, if not know their name, and preferably at least one piece of mindless celeb gossip about them. I have never heard of her!
