what is the worst ad on tv at the moment?

I want to throw my shoes at the tv every time that ad comes on where there are four women in a cafe (sex and the city style) and one says 'when I went to the loo, bowel stuff it was hard and uncomfortable'
ffs!

I hate all the above-

But also:

"Life is for living mum!"

"Give it to the bank!"

The guy left with the bleeding poodle Snowdrop- urgh, I want to rampage through the white set and annihalate them both in a Sawtastic frenzy

The sensodyne ones have some weird camera angles

"When my teeth started hurting, a man in a white coat told me..."

"...to try Sensodyne GLEAM..."

"...so I tried it and all of a sudden I can eat all my favourite food again..."

i quite like the laughing baby one - never fails to make me giggle
obviously can't stand anything involving micheal winner, that comparison advert with that bloke off dragon's den - infact any celebrity endorsement advert really annoys me. My friend used to say that the old advert for iceland where all Kerry Katona's week's shopping is spread over the table looked a lot like that shot in What Not to eat of some poor blighter's weekly diet.

Has anyone seen the advert for online bingo where the woman does irish dancing with her dog when she wins?
It is reaaaallllyy bad.

The ones where popular ex-tv presenters come on during the afternoon to encourage OAPs to sign up to financial services so "you're loved ones won't have to worry about the cost of your funeral" - so manipulative.

Also hate the accident ones where you're encouraged to sue your workplace for what are accidents. I'm sure that will go down well with your bosses and future employers.

Can't stand Werthers Originals sickly one with the grandpa giving the child a sweet as if it is made of gold - yuk.

I really hate the Boots "Here come the girls" song ads -- I am not a "girl" and neither are my friends, despite the fact I am totally the target market for the ad as I am a sucker for beauty products. Every time it's on I just think, shut. The. F*. Up.

Also despise the ones where they discuss constipation over their cappucinos and then make some lame joke about men and all laugh like morons. Profoundly terrible.

I guess the pattern here is that ads heavy on fake female camaraderie really miss the mark for me ...

So funny...DS who's 5 tells me he's off to do 'a poo at Paul's' when he's going to the loo...he thinks it's hilarious! Mind you, sometimes when I use the loo after him, I wish he had done it at Paul's!
Hate that ad for Special K with all the girls walking round in their red bikinis...and the Alpen one with the girls exercising. So inane..

LOVING the curry's ad where the guy knocks his tv off the wall doing exercises and the McDonalds one with people doing stupid things in the morning...there are some ad-people out there with a bit of wit.

pmsl at the new Iceland ad, minus KT of course, with Coleen and all the other shoppers hi-fiving each other and running about like loons in celebration of the £1 lasagne that looks like a carpet tile

and the natwest ads that pretend that they are human

God yes- imagine inviting comment from the woman at the bleedin bank on the fact you're trying to conceive. Hell would freeze over before I shared that with NatWest.

The Iphone adverts are incredibly annoying

a lot of ads annoy me, but I saw the Postman Pat Specsavers ad tonight for the first time, and I laughed myself silly. Very funny.

I can't stand the "we buy any car" advert. The first time I heard the tune it was quite catchy but by the third repetition I was ready to throw the tv through the window.

btw - when anyone goes to the loo in our house for a crap any length of time we say "just going to see paul"

ALL the perfume ads. Brilliantly horrific. You can always tell Xmas is just around the corner when the really crap attempts at merging art with commerce come along.

Pooh at Pauls-Iknow I shouldn't but I really hate that kid .

Razors with lots of blades.
They'll do one that says how good it is they've now got 4 blades. And you think '4 blades - whatever will they think of next'?
Then 6 months later they're advertising 5 blades....and so on.
You can imagine them sitting round sky-blue-thinking to come up with their great new idea.

eeeeeee-harmony ad. Nauseating.

The only reason they did 5 blades was because they did 3 and then Wilkinson Sword did 4, but Wilkinson Sword don't spend nearly as much money on advertising, but despite this Gilette still felt the need to go to 5. Advertising works.

Can I admit to liking an advert? There's one for the Toyota Prius which I love because every time it's on, DH joins in - so the woman says "I am ahead of the curve" and he says "I'm GrendelsMum", and the woman says "I am the future" and he says "I'm GrendelsMum". I feel all warm and happy after we've got through the whole 30 seconds about how futuristic I am.

I cannot believe no one has metioned the Safestyle UK Adverts...

Agree with Rubylove-Actually told their rep who called at my door that I HATED their advert and would NEVER buy-baldy guy with long hair and extremely irritating catch phrase-yeuk. Oh & also the kid who wants to pooh at Paul's .

I hate any advert selling baby products.

They are always delivered in this stupid soppy voice and use words like "soft" and "tummy" and have unnecssary giggling and stupid plinky plonky piano music.

It's like they think as soon as a woman has a baby she loses half her brain.

The Ocean finance adverts - badlt acted and terribly annoying.

But the worse one has to be that 'Drive Sexy' one, where that stupid woman and the gormless man talk about thats stupid car, both pretending that they are irresistable!

Cashmygold, We Buy Gold, Pimp my Gold and all those others that have suddenly sprung up. The price of gold must be really high at the moment or something. Sadly I have no 'unwanted' gold - who does??
