Well this change might be one way to get the DCs to watch less tv. (DD was committed to the previous schedule...)

guiltydad we also had a total meltdown at no 64 Zoo lane/charlie and lola here. I could still find some 64 on Virgin Catch up TV but sadly no C&L. Which seemed to make it worse!

Am not sure what we are going to do tonight. Pah to CBeebies!!!

Does anyone fancy composing a letter to Cbeebies? I am crap at that sort of thing!

DS just keeps saying "beebies!" i.e. what he's watching isn't beebies! I'm not happy about the schedule at all - no more tellytubbies at 6.30am on BBC2 - no idea what I'm going to do!

i'm sort of passive about it - i HATE 64ZL, particularly the
singingsobadshemustbetheproducersdaughter innocent voice of "lucy", and quite like a change...waybuloo is odd and DH hates it but DD quite enjoys it...
Imagine the outcry if they'd moved ITNG completely!!
Don't start me on Ceri and Alex but i LOVE the idea of them shagging (well, not actually visualising it but it made me laugh)

I've never done this before but I have complained to the BBC about this. My 4.5year old twins are not happy about the changes and my dd started crying last night as she could not watch C&L. How do you explain to a child why her favouriate programme has been rescheduled to some other time during the day.

If you go onto the BBC website you can complain via email.

Is it me or have they put on the most annoying programmes ever? There is just something about Waybuloo which is too...twinkly. Sorry can't find a better word but that music going twinkle, twinkle, twinkle....arrgh!
Not only that in the 5 to 6pm window they have taken off Mister Maker and put on Lazytown and Gigglebiz which might possibly drive me insane - 20 month old dd is really not impressed and kept on saying "Makaaar" as in "where is Mr Maker??"

Yes. Aargh. 64 Zoo Lane/C&L were their bedtime treat.

(And is anyone else miffed they seem to have replaced the old autumn song with a new insipid one with a video which has my dd up in arms about them wasting all those apples?)

I like the music of waybuloo but other than that it's just weird. It's like they are aiming it at the hippy-type parents who don't want to let their kids watch any TV at all but if they are, they have got it wrong with the "Chibis" thing and "Yojojo LOVE jumping" etc. Why can't they talk properly?

Well my two are missing 64 zoo lane and charlie and lola loads. They are 3 and a half and nearly 5 and LOVE Charlie and Lola. We didn't realise the schedule change and will be doing other things after bath time and before bedtime now.

DD got her first look at Gigglebiz on Friday and after about 2 minutes looked at me and said 'Mummy, this is boring, it's all really Justin even though he's pretending to be other people' and insisted on a switch over.

Now that Nick Jr has stopped showing Backyardigans at 6pm there is nothing for that half hour before bathtime and it's doing my head in, as DH has allowed her to watch Spongebob instead (gaaah!) and now that's all she asks for - now, while I find Spongebob quite funny, all it seems to be doing for her is teaching her Americanisms and very annoying catchphrases!

So bring back C&L asap, purlease!
