It is on iplayer. I watched it this evening. Cried 3 times!!!!
I heart Gareth Malone.

I have tried in vain to get a DVD of his previous programmes but they dont seem to be available . Is this right ?

I can't say it made me cry, but I do love Gareth. I think he was brilliant with the teenagers in the earlier series.

For an instant pick me up theres a couple of the great scenes from series one on you tube (stand by me/beautiful girls). have to do till they get a dvd out- cant find one anywhere

I watched this tonight, it was fab and loved who he chose to sign alone on childrens song Whens it on again?
I know south oxey, never knew it as that bad!

But he's only deep-auburn-rinsed the front hasn't he?

Which makes it all the weirder. It's like he's trying to match hair to freckle shade.

But I do love him.

However when I am not being fascinated by the range of styles he can get his hair into, I am very impressed by the way he gets people to sing in harmony. It doesn't come naturally to many.

Sibel was fab - what a positive image of SN kids.

in a weird way he reminds me a bit of David Tennant. I think its a charisma thing.

Oh he is definitely Tennant-like. Put him in a pair of converses and a long coat and he's there.

Aren't the primary school children lovely? They really seem to want to do it: they're so enthusiastic. And he's lovely with him.

OMG just watched this on I-player. Sort of thing DH hates - too schmaltzy for him - so good thing he's on early shift and has gone to bed. I love it love it. In tears for several bits - I love those cheeky "bad" boys, love Sibell, love the window cleaner dad (hearing his daughter describe how lonely he is got me going) love the way Gareth is so passionate about the whole thing. Hate his hair though, though it was hilarious the way those boys thought it was cool "it's like girls' hair really isn't it". Can't wait for next week
