Is anyone else loving this on Nick Jr?
It's perfect for bedtime as the drawings are almost muted and I think it's lovely and calming (ecxept when Wallace gets excited) and DD's love it.

DD1 is desperate for a Humf doll, I have made her a mini one from felt but it isn't cutting the mustard

yup, its a favourite in the Cat household. He's just so cute and the very best thing is that he makes DD sit still for a whole 20 mins. And nicely followed by Ben and Hollys Little Kingdom (I am considering setting up a Nanny Plum fan club)

Tillyscoutsmum · 30/08/2009 20:15

We love Humf here.... For once, it seems like he's a really lovely character. Peppa Pig can be a bit of brat, as can Princess Holly and don't even get me started on bloody Lola ... but Humf is just a real sweetie

JackBauer · 30/08/2009 22:24

I totally agree, DD's are both avid peppa fans but I can see her in some of DD1's tantrums, she's a right stroppy little madam.
I love the episode when Wallace throws a wobbly and Humf is all confused as to why 'But when I am tired, I just go to sleep!'

DD1 does like to play 'Humf' but unfortunately it involves her running upa nd down shouting 'I'm Super Tiger!'

We just love Humf so much, I was jsut saying tonight how much I love the fact that my dd's 5 and 3 like it as it is so sweet and innocent. My little 3 year old sings the theme tune so cutely. I've looked every where and there doesn't seem to be any merchandise yet, my two would love a little humf toy. I secretly love Wallace, especially his teeth!

Another vote here for Humf. Just lovely and gentle and innocent and...fab.

superdenki · 02/09/2009 11:40

I think Humf is awesome. If you think about it most of the stories are about proper disappointments - noone will take him to the museum, there's no food in the fridge, uncle hairy was supposed to babysit but he didn't show up til really late - but they're spun so that you see the positive in everything. i love it!

MelissaIreland · 14/11/2009 01:10

Is there any more news on those Humf toys? I'm starting to get worried now as my daughter is in love with the little guy and one of those toys would really make her xmas.

scrappydappydoo · 14/11/2009 16:04

DD1 has a mini humf obsession - we HAVE to watch it every night. There's a humf section on the nickjr website with games and colouring pages to download but I can't find any merchandise...

MrsBrendanCole · 16/11/2009 11:03

My DS would like something humf too, (and Jungle Junction!)

unclebundle · 26/01/2010 13:45

ShadeofViolet · 28/09/2010 16:26

I love Humf - it reminds me of the kind of programmes they had on 20 years ago, it seems so calm.

I do lile Ben and Holly, and the DC's like Peppa Pig - but she is a little Madam imo.

boobmanagement · 28/09/2010 17:01

I love it when the adults in Humf talk and they say 'blah blah blah blah' Grin

jetcat · 28/09/2010 20:04

my DD is also a huge Humf fan, and spends entire days adding "actually" onto every sentenceGrin

uncle - i am very impressed! You should definitely think about making some to sell, they look lovelySmile

FiaGrace · 28/09/2010 20:59

My old Uni mate created Humf~I also think its fab

conkie · 29/09/2010 12:56

My son likes Humf but I find it really boring. I prefer it when he watches Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom, I like the theme tune as well

pigleychez · 30/09/2010 22:26

Yes Humf has become popular here too as is Ben and Holly.
However Peppa Pig will always be top dog!

I like how its quite calm, especially when shes watching it in bed with me at 7am on a weekend ( thats the only time she really watches kids tv) and im laying there with my eyes closed :)

DD is quite taken with Uncle Hairy Confused

Fab teddy, Bundle! Grin

DannyJB2004 · 04/07/2025 16:10

Sorry Humf! That’s better.

DannyJB2004 · 04/07/2025 16:11

I don’t know if I hate this show as it has so much potential to a kids point of view.
