So how old is Susan Kennedy in Neighbours meant to be?

The current surrogacy story is just making me laugh - Libby's got to be 30 so how old is Susan ? at least 50 something? Has no-one pointed out that it's all a bit silly? that's why I just love Neighbours, it's so trashy.

I mean she didn't die when she got hit by the bus...but the golf ball thing was to explain her swollen face! It was someone in Neighbours, I'm sure it was Dee.

Where the heck was their wedding reception anyway to manage to fall in the sea on the way!?

MANATEEequineOHARA · 19/08/2009 22:49

Ahhhhhh...Bouncer!

dizzydixies · 19/08/2009 22:52

oh come on people, you're forgetting the institution that was Mrs Mangle!!!

secretgardin · 19/08/2009 22:52

an aussie mate of mine swore on her mums life that susan kennedy was making passes at her sister when she was working on the set. that was 10 years ago and she was ancient then. unfortunately i don't watch neighbours and this is the only bit that stuck

Hangingbellyofbabylon · 19/08/2009 22:55

They were on the way to the honeymoon on a coastal road.
The car crashed, Toady lived, Dee was never found.

Just a week and a half left and then Home and Away will be back, some people will be interested in knowing.

FluffySaysTheDailyMailsShite · 19/08/2009 23:32

Tsch, I've not watched Home and Away for ages, has that doctor had the baby yet? It's all I remember

stleger · 19/08/2009 23:47

The saddest ever was the death of Joe Mangel's wife - was she Skye? Harold's girl. Daphne's coffee shop was great, wasn't it at Lassiter's Lake?

FluffySaysTheDailyMailsShite · 19/08/2009 23:51

It's where Harold and Lou's coffee shop is.

I can't remember what happened to skye, she was shot I think. I missed that, I remember the one where she was bitten by a poisonous spider though.

Servalan · 19/08/2009 23:57

I think Harold's girl was called Kerry. Skye was her daughter.

FluffySaysTheDailyMailsShite · 20/08/2009 00:02

Ah yes. Sky "I don't know who the dad is".

Max. Hm...hint?? Ah, thingies husband, she had breast cancer (twice). Maria??? Hmmm, hint???

i'm bad with names.

muggglewump · 20/08/2009 00:14

Of course you haven't fluffy.
I believe you

She has it soon. I know the name.

God but she's annoying.

Why in the whole of Summer Bay is she the only Doctor?
Cancer specialist, A&E Doctor, about to die because you randomly fell in a storm drain doctor.....
And what is with her skirts.
The same skirt even though she's pg, and it's a horrid skirt anyway.
Someone interested in H&A might say.

I, of course would not, knowing it to be a lot bit sad.

EyeballsintheSky · 20/08/2009 00:19

Max and Maria Ramsay were riiiiiiiiiiight at the beginning, before Madge. I think oh goodness, were Max and Madge bro and sis or ex married? Can't remember. Maria was Polish anyway. Olive skin and a perfect sleek and shiny bob. I think Max was Shane and Danny's dad. Yes, Shane used to say aunty Madge so she must have been Max's sister.

FluffySaysTheDailyMailsShite · 20/08/2009 00:26

I can't remember that far back. Madge was married before harold though.

muggglewump · 20/08/2009 01:05

She was Madge Mitchell.
I don't remember a husband though.

glasgowtomelbourne · 20/08/2009 01:22

I remember when Madge got divorced and announced to Mrs Mangle that she had reverted back to her maiden name: "The Ramsay's are back in Ramsay Street!" Cut to Mrs Mangle's shocked face and the end music plays.

Ian Smith who played Harold Bishop walked past me last week. It is true what they say about cameras adding weight - he looked positively svelte! I was so chuffed, I paused with the pram to let him past and he said "Thank you!"
Made my week.

muggglewump · 20/08/2009 01:37

Did you not run up to him and ask for an autograph? as I some people would have done?

I do love Aussie Soaps.

lulalullabye · 20/08/2009 01:54

Doctor in home and away has just had her baby snatched. All safe and well now though .

Glasgow, where abouts in Melbourne are you ??

glasgowtomelbourne · 20/08/2009 02:31

Muggle - I was too starstruck! The first thing I did was phone my DH and tell him.
Lula - I'm in Hampton.

lulalullabye · 20/08/2009 04:52

Well, bloody hell, so am I !!! Small world !! Should meet up.

glasgowtomelbourne · 20/08/2009 06:35

We could've walked past one another on Hampton Street without knowing it!
I am generally to be found in Espresso Elements with my DS (15months). He is sitting on a seat in a Wriggle Wrapper and being fed mini muffins. I am drinking a skinny latte and trying to keep him from yelling and disturbing the rest of the customers.
How many children do you have, how old are they?
Are you an ex-pat too?

lulalullabye · 20/08/2009 08:51

Yes expat, have to dd's 2yrs and 3 yrs. We live on Linacre. How long have you been here ? We only came in Jan, but are going back next year. Have made some great friends.

MANATEEequineOHARA · 20/08/2009 09:14

Hahaha @ 'The Ramseys are back in Ramsey Street' - Shock!

I remember when the Robinsons were trying to change the name to Robinson Street and they kept switching the sign around.

glasgowtomelbourne · 20/08/2009 09:27

Ooh, thinking about buying a house on Linacre Rd. We're in Fewster Road just now.
We've been here 3 years - not so good at making friends.
