Watched this last night for over 2 hours and fell asleep missing the last 30mins!

Was also recording it but recorded the wrong channel!

Would be interested in knowing how it finished if anyone else watched or recorded it.

Thanks

the shot lady survived

Brad Pitt continued to look totally hot

the rest was a bit incomprehensible tbh, but wine had been consumed

Anonymumandlikeit · 16/08/2009 19:57

The poor mexican au-pair got dumped in the desert with the children after being left by crazy pissed nephew speeding across American/mexican border after the wedding. The kids were found safe but mexican lady got deported

The Morrocan children-oldest son got shot and killed.
The Japanese father and daughter.Girl tried to seduce a cop and it got a bit bizzare..I got confused by this storyline but it was the Dad who gave his rifle to the Morrocan bloke.

American lady survived.

It was a bit confusing and depressing, really!

Thanks folks-didn't miss much then!

No, it was crap compared to the first two films. Most disappointing.

AnyFucker · 16/08/2009 21:00

first two films ?

what first two films ?

themoon66 · 16/08/2009 21:09

you mean it was part 3 of something else?

AnyFucker · 16/08/2009 21:11

please tell me there are another 2 films where BP looks sooooo shaggable......

themoon66 · 16/08/2009 21:25

please tell me there are another two films that explain why the third one was made

saggyhairyarse · 16/08/2009 21:40

I stayed up to watch it but kept nodding off and waking up when bizarre things were happening (Japanese girl flashing her bits etc etc). I couldn't make head nor tail of it!

MrsMerryHenry · 17/08/2009 07:31

Yes, Amores Perros and 21 Grams were the first two, in that order. Both utterly brilliant, if brutal, films. No BP, though - sorry, AnyFucker!

AnyFucker · 17/08/2009 10:28

ah, I see MrsMH

I have seen 21 grams, what a brilliantly brutal movie that was

Again, a bit inscrutable, but fascinating

Is the other subtitled?

MrsMerryHenry · 17/08/2009 12:34

the other is subtitled, I believe. It's about dog fighting and other stuff. Really brutal again, but truly outstanding.

cocolepew · 17/08/2009 12:35

I gave up after 45 mins, should I try again?

MrsMerryHenry · 17/08/2009 12:41

Gave up on Babel? Don't bother. Gave up on either of the other two films? DO, do try again, they're fab.

cocolepew · 17/08/2009 12:43

Gave up on Babel, though I was enjoying Brad DH said 21 Grams was the most depressing crap he'd ever seen.

Though his favourite film is Rocky

MrsMerryHenry · 17/08/2009 12:49

Rocky!!!!!

PMSL while ROFL!!

cocolepew · 17/08/2009 12:54

I think it's too late to trade him in.

MrsMerryHenry · 17/08/2009 12:55

You wouldn't say that if Brad were available, now, wouldya?

cocolepew · 17/08/2009 12:57

I'd bury him under the patio for Brad.

MrsMerryHenry · 17/08/2009 13:08

your poor DH! But then, with the Rocky thing, he has kind of brought it upon himself. It would be the most just thing to do.

AnyFucker · 17/08/2009 13:11

I have one of those DH's coco

His fave films are Rocky, all its sequels (are there about 35 of them ?), First Blood and all the other Rambo crap stuff

MrsMerryHenry · 17/08/2009 13:21

OMG I hope you guys are in therapy.

AnyFucker · 17/08/2009 13:23

< rocks in corner >

MrsMerryHenry · 17/08/2009 15:04
