What happened at the end of single handed last night, can anyone tell me?

I was too tired to stay up to the end saw it as far as the policemans dodgy dad implicating Malachy.....

The missing child had been taken by its paternal granparents who thought they would give him a better life.
Malachy had been totally framed by 'dodgy dad' ex-policeman.
Malachy visited policeman's mother to get her to believe him. Meanwhile 'Dodgy Dad' at tribunal and when he couldn't reach his wife on 'phone (after Malachy had said he would make his wife hear the truth )he left in a hurry. His impatience behind a slow moving vehicle brought on palpitations and bad driving caused him to crash. He got his comeuppance and died.
Policeman getting it together with doctor at end.
