Also, how many children has Beeney had? She's always pregnant, then not pregnant. I'm confused (and yet seem to care deeply)

Ms Beeny has 3 children and is currently pg with her fourth

I kinda agree MorrisZapp... from the little bit I saw, it seemed like they were playing monopoly.

Although when they talked about their financial position at the end and realised they would have to live in the Penthouse until it could be sold at their expected level, she did say it wouldn't be a bad thing.

Surely there must be lots of ways to reduce costs in the building of the penthouse to achieve the sort of figure they need to break even. Forgo the grass rug maybe?

icedgemsrock - it was on the beach at Sandbanks (in Dorset). I was going to a friend's beach party with my DS and was pg with DD. Ms Beeny was not pg at the time but she'd had 2 DCs. She was on her way to another beach party a couple of windbreaks along from ours. She was lovely - we chatted about pregnancy (she loved it, I hated it), the weather (glorious), finding jeans that fit well round the bottom and the thighs, her hair (she had a short bob a couple of years before they became fashionable again) and how cute my DS was

We didn't mention her job at all!!! Although it was pretty obvious that I recognised her as "her off the telly." This doesn't particularly come across on TV but she is absolutely tiny. Can't be more than 5'1" I should think.

and yes does seem she is always pregnant as guess some of the filming is meant to be done over 3/6mths but if they over run/go over budget/wait till can work again often from start to finish some of the houses take over a year

so in each episode of each series, we see her not pregant, few months pregant, heavily pregnant, then BF (dh is in ewe of SB norks!1)
