Hi - anyone planning to watch this series at all???

See what I meant about prob not for 13yr olds

I really liked it too and thought Bill was tasty!

I thought the waitress was an interesting character. Way better than most sappy vampire girlfriends (sorry...but I did find the Twilight girl a bit wussy tbh).

Looking forward to next week soooo much

Have watched season 1 and am currently on season 2 and Vampire Bill certainly grows on you, he's even overtaken Spike in the Fit Vampire stakes (as it were) for me.

I'm quite liking Jason at the moment - he is certainly better looking that I imagined ...

Another vote for Bill. Edward (in the movie) was too sappy looking. Bill (or "Bell" as I heard it) just looks hot hot hot.

Was slightly surprised by the sex... wasn't expecting that. I guess it is in the Dexter slot so I shouldn't have been!

I'm not quite happy with the fangs bit - they just remind me of snakes - but I'm sure I'll get over it!

I thought it was really good - even DH liked it and he's much more choosey than me

knew it would be 'adult' - it's HBO, their stuff is always surprisingly saucy for american TV.

Sookie was great - as was Bill - nice chemistry - although I think they are a couple in 'real life'.......

Did anyone else notice the guy who plays Sookie's brother was Vinnie Patterson in Home And Away? He's obviously been working out quite a bit since his Summer Bay days!

I remember when I suddenly realised it was Vinnie Sat there trying to work out how the hell he hadn't actually aged much since home and away

Loved the books but thought the series was a bit meh.

Have y'know, "legally acquired" the first episode so will watch when I get a chance.

we watched 1st ep yesteday but i struggled to get it, will watch ep 2 and hopefully it will be clearer

I love true blood. I'm on episode 5 in season 2 and I really like what they've done. I've read all the books as well and think they've done a good job of adapting the books.

My favourite vampire is definately Eric, but I might be biased as we're both swedish =)

Apparently Bill and Sookie go out with each other in real life now too. She is quite a bit younger than him. Someone mentioned to me that she looks a bit like Kerry Katona and now it's all I see when I look at her!!

Bill was Jack in Ultraviolet btw (that's the awesomely brilliant C4 series, not the fairly crappy film)

Stringer Bell from the Wire was also in UV. It was really good if I remember correctly. I think you can watch it on demand at the moment.

I too watched last nighnts ep but as much as i love jason, everytime he is having load rough sex with someone i can't help but think about him in h&a shagging little innocent leah like that
