had some funny people on. I don't find many comedians funny, but there were a couple tonight made me chuckle. But that michael, he is so not funny eh? Whats with his voice, does he always talk like that?

I heart Michael McIntyre

I didn't think last night was as good as last weeks though. Last week my tummy ached from laughing so much!

I like Michael McIntyre (youtube North vs South divide from Mock the Week, it's great!) but I was hoping we'd get more of him and less of random other people ont he show.

totalmisfit · 21/06/2009 15:35

god he's awful. nearly as unfunny as Russell Brand. Nearly.

and he looks disconcertingly like the (very very funny and wise) late Bill Hicks, which just makes the whole thing even more disappointing.

Michael McIntyre is the dogs. Going to see him at the O2 in November and I can't wait!!

Tortington · 21/06/2009 19:27

i lurve him

i lurve that manc comedian last week too

NorbertDentressangle · 21/06/2009 19:29

I like Michael Macintyre but I do fear hes one of these comedians who could disappear up their own arse if hes not careful.

Megglevache · 21/06/2009 19:31

I will mostly be stalking Sidge in November, I'm going to the Brighton show too. I managed to bag tickets in the second row. [gulp] if we are late he will show us up no end

I saw him last year with a friend who I had to drag there (the Apollo) She is converted now!

Hulababy · 21/06/2009 20:48

Going him to see him in October too; relly looking forward to it.

OurLadyOfPerpetualSupper · 21/06/2009 20:55

I bought DH the MM DVD for Christmas - and we sat and watched it sraight-faced for about 20 mins before giving up.

I like him when he's being interviewed or commenting on Apprentice-type programmes though - just find him a bit lightweight as a stand-up. He even copied Eddie Izzard's much funnier take on the English learning French.

That tom Stade had me and Ds1 in stitches

Hulababy · 21/06/2009 20:56

I wasn;t keen on last night's comedians though; much preferred MM.

Sidge · 21/06/2009 21:23

Megglevache what date is it you're going? I think we're there on the Sunday the 8th but I'm not 100% sure as my friend bought the tickets. No idea what row we're in but I might see you in the bar

Shall I wear a pink carnation and carry a copy of the Daily Mail Independent?
