So it launches tonight, i'm hoping it's more like it used to be rather than what it has become.

I don't dislike Lisa that much either, she doesn't do anything worse than the others as far as I can see.

Saxonne · 10/08/2009 14:59

Have just been on the BB website and discovered a new twist! BB has given them the green light to discuss nominations! Apart from Rodrigo who has chosen not to take part they are all running round excitedly revealing who they have nominated. This will end in tears surely, there must be an eviction twist coming!

mumsiebumsie · 10/08/2009 15:17

They can discuss nominations? Oh my goodness. Remember them doing that in a previous show.

Bea is toxic to the extreme. All she ever does is moan regardless of who else may be upset around her. All roads lead to Bea - she's totally self obsessed.

Does anyone think her eyes are too close together?

Saxonne · 10/08/2009 15:40

They did do it in a previous show and there was a consequence for the housemates but I can't remember what it was.

The eyes are definately too close together! When she first went in I thought she was a fun, pretty little thing who would spread love and peace around the others, Hippie style. How wrong could I be! I really hope she goes this week, but I suspect the allowing of discussing nominations will lead to a "twist" which allows Bea to escape again.

I thought this series was slow at first but it's really got going the last week.

ApplesinmyPocket · 10/08/2009 15:47

Video on C4 site shows Sophie saying 'I'm nominating Freddie and Marcus' and a jubilant Lisa saying 'and us!' - meaning her, Charlie and David.

If no twist then it looks like Freddie v Marcus this week and Lisa and co clear all the way to the finalm as they will pick off Siavash next week I expect.

That will be a fun final week with Lisa holding court at the bus-stop.

Saxonne · 10/08/2009 15:57

If Lisa wins (make it not so!) Davina should present her with the little red bus ash tray from the bus stop to take home with her, complete with all the butts, as a memory of where she spent 90% of her time in the house.

Freddie or Marcus cannot go! I want them as my final 3 with Siavash

beanieb · 10/08/2009 16:09

but... aren't they going to punnish sophie and Bea for discussing nominations before they gave them the green light? Surely they have to considering the fact that they have before?

mumsiebumsie · 10/08/2009 16:59

If Freddie and Marcus are up then Marcus will go. I think he's dispensable. Now Norin's gone he spends most of the day laying on his duvet which never has a cover on it (I so couldn't do that, my duvet is gross ) so he's not adding much value.

Freddie needs to go up as he's taken to constantly stating how popular he is - doing my nut in.

Tamarto · 10/08/2009 17:07

I wouldn't be surprised if Freddie went out of him and Marcus, nothing annoys people more that HMs who think the are infallible.

Hello this is my first post on telly addicts
Is it alright to call us all sad or what?
Anyway, my take on Bea is she is a master machivellean (sp) turning everything around to giving her the maximum sympathy/ drama/ attention/ glory etc etc. But, no blame.
Marcus shows worrying EA traits as far as I can see. I actually felt sorry for Noirin before she revealed her true colours.
Like Sophie
Rodriguez is a boyband beautiful funny child.
Freddie, is getting a real education about how to get on with different people, and being led astray and trashed at the same time by Bea.
I think David thought it would be more fun.
Thought Siavash was brilliantly elusive and cool until he crashed and got burned by going after Noirin. He is now as human as the rest of us so that's okay, but he is being manipulated by Bea's so called flattery.
Have to go now will carry on with this thread as I know no one in rl who is watching it.

kikid · 10/08/2009 21:08

OMG, please get that bully lisa out...

she was so nasty to freddie, i hope he wins just to show her, shes a nasty bitch, all she does is smoke, total dosser too..

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 11/08/2009 08:17

Am going well off Charlie, was pretty shocked by him calling Rodrigo a freak in an argument, he can be pretty nasty.

cocolepew · 11/08/2009 09:05

Freddie is like the school swot who is allowed to hang around with the 'cool' guys. He's so bad at being rebellious, I'm cringing. Marcus is a pillock, the lovely Siavash needs to distance himself this instance!

Monkeyandbooba · 11/08/2009 09:13

With regards to nominations this week I think they will have a live feed from the diary room and will have to nominate in front of each other

TheChilliMooseSpeakstheTruth · 11/08/2009 14:18

If Freddie and Marcus are up, I guess Marcus will go.

Tamarto · 11/08/2009 15:10

I think Bea was spot on with her analysis of Freddie last night.

OP posts:
CybilLiberty · 11/08/2009 15:16

Fredie is so supremely bad at reading people. When he was in the Diary room ages ago he said he and Bea had such a sexual connection she was driven away by it but he craved her closenes...can he not see she was 'driven away' by his personality and creepiness?

Marcus is very sussed about how to play the game and is spot on when he keeps saying 'Its just a game' Dogface and Rodrigo look upon Big Brother like they are the Police when in fact they are just a load of sweaty tired TV producers behind a two way mirror. They have no real authority and Marcus knows that. He's still a know all though, but I sort of like him.

Despite her selective memory, I do like Bea as she is intelligent and perceptive. And Siavash is funny.

David annoys me. He's so bland. Must they keep throwing OTT gay guys into that house in a vain attempt to liven things up? He certainly hasn't. And lumpen Lisa..she looks nice with make up on. That's all I've got to say about her.

Stilla · 11/08/2009 15:22

All Bea's moans about Freddie ,are all the things she is guilty of . Her "chat " in bed was a joke- everything said loud enough for Lisa etc to hear ......did the highlights show them then all leaving the bedroom (Bea,Lisa,David and the awful Charlie) to give Bea a pat on the back and have a good bitch ? (which is what happened)

beanieb · 11/08/2009 15:29

Thing is about the whole protest stuff - They willingly entered the 'game show' that Marcus keeps banging on about and so whenb he says stuff like 'I didn't sign up for that' he really is just talking out of his arse.

I thought it was impressive that most of the larger group just got on with stuff when all the food got taken and basically tried to keep having fun. Also thought Rodrigo was so good when he was talking to Freddie in the garden, very mature and considered.

Stilla - no I don't think they did show us that. They showed David and Lisa in bed while Bea was talking to Freddie.

tiredemma · 11/08/2009 15:33

Marcus is vile beyond belief. What the fuck is going on with his hair?

Tamarto · 11/08/2009 15:47

Yes it is just a game, and in any game there are rules, i'm glad BB try to enforce them because i for one don't want to see them sleeping all day, what entertainment that would be.

I would PMSL if Marcus gets removed, he is a sweaty tired housemate that is infront of the mirror eeewww.

Freddie really isn't as clever as he thinks he is. Although i agree Bea should have just shut up rather than keep going on in the bedroom, though it's not as if Freddie listened to her pleas for him to stop well before that.

OP posts:
Saxonne · 11/08/2009 15:49

Love it when Marcus is in the pool and the long bit trails across the water after him like some kind of water rat in hot pursuit!

He is one of my favourites for entertainment value, but it is not right really for a grown man to look like that is it?

Stilla · 11/08/2009 16:01

Not like them to show the full story is it ?

Well - looks like the nominations have been counted and there has been NO twist on the (rather pants) punishment of allowing them to talk about nominations . I would have liked to see at least some consequences to it - maybe with Big Brother playing clips into the house randomly throughout the day of previous nominations or conversations ..... ideally a clip of Lisa having a bitch at Freddie with Charlie ,followed by the clip of Charlie saying he has NEVER heard Lisa say anything bad about Freddie ! Just to show Charlie up as the desperate stirrer that he is .

Stilla · 11/08/2009 16:06

Bea ? intelligent ?

The queen is the queen because her husband is dead - thats why we have a queen and not a king .

cocolepew · 11/08/2009 16:12

Freddie and Bea just like the sound of their own voices. 'talking' everything through to the death, fling in a few big words, and Bob's your uncle: we're sooo intelligent.

I think BB thought that the punishments would cause much bigger rows. I'm sure they thought Lisa would flip. Misjudged that one BB producers .

Sophie has her moments, the night fo FagGate she kept on at Marcus much more than was shown in the HL show. She never raised her voice but was demanding answers that he couldn't give.

I still hat Marcus but Freddie I'm ready to throttle.
