So it launches tonight, i'm hoping it's more like it used to be rather than what it has become.

OP posts:
LuluMaman · 01/08/2009 09:08

why does davina bother interviewing? no hard time, no probing questions.

noirin behaved despicably

she claims she learnt loads from teh show

what? how to get your own way all the time?

she treated siaviash horribly. she has shown herself up as a nasty self serving mean person

her and isaac deserve each other

ApplesinmyPocket · 01/08/2009 09:13

I didn't think Noirin came across well in her interview - but wow! what a stunning girl she is. I thought she looked entirely lovely. Alas she knows it far too well and seems utterly self-centred and quite callous - almost distant. I winced when she said 'none of them are my friends' so coldly - some of them did try to be her friend but she never seemed to be all that interested in other people.

As for Isaac, I loathed him the moment he came in and nothing I saw last night changed my mind. One is tempted to say 'they deserve one another.'

I don't dislike Noirin the way some viewers seem to and would happily have voted out Lisa, Hira, even Charlie or David over her. Even Sophie, maybe, whom I find dull and vacuous. It was a pity it worked out with noms the way it did as we were sure to lose a good HM this week no matter what - we would hardly notice the loss of Hira!

cocolepew · 01/08/2009 09:20

She is pretty but I can't see her supposed out of control sexuality. She seemed very cold and controlling.

stainesmassif · 01/08/2009 09:57

i can't help thinking that noirin is getting a little harder time than she entirely deserves. siavash's head got turned by a pretty girl. he forgot all about his gf - but he's not receiving much criticism? wtf? he was cool, but not that cool.

to me, noirin is the epitome of why beauty can be a burden. noone really gets her, they all project their own fantasies on to her and her development has seemingly been arrested at about 15 years old because she can get everything she wants by looking like she does. i wouldn't like to be friends with her though - she'd take your husband soon as look at him! but i'd still hold him responsible....

on the other hand, bea seems to be turning into a monster. bb does strange things to people.

sunfleurs · 01/08/2009 10:47

Noirin - didn't have a boyfriend, Siavash had a girlfriend though, who is the arse? I know what I think.

Siavash behaved like a silly, little school girl, where was your dignity man? Flopping about everywhere and getting everyone to gang up on Noirin. How could Noirin have handled that situation any better, should she have turned to Siavash and said "You're dumped!" the second Issac walked into the house?

Issac, I find rather scary. He seems very controlling and Noirin became rather submissive when he arrived, which is scary. Don't go back to Georgia with him N whatever you do!

Bea is a bully. She reminds of the girls at school whose own mates were even scared of her but stayed friends so she didn't turn on them.

Loving this BB now .

poshsinglemum · 01/08/2009 11:33

Noireen is physically immaculte but very cold. She's not moved by anything is she? Bea is playing poor Freddie- he's smitten and she just wants to fuck around with her free love bollocks.

poshsinglemum · 01/08/2009 11:34

immaculate

LuluMaman · 01/08/2009 12:38

yes, not very nice when she said her best memory of the house was Isaac arriving

what's she been doing for the last 2 months

cocolepew · 01/08/2009 12:49

I liked her ok at the beginning, I hated Sree and Marcus, but she started to show her true colours in the last couple of weeks. She only talked about herself and wanted her admirers to talk about her. She came across a bit cold and calculating in the end.

MegBusset · 01/08/2009 13:00

Bea is awful. That bit where they were going into the DR in towels and Noirin asked what they were doing "Oh, nothing!" (titter, titter) was so appalling. Not surprised that Sophie and Siavash went along with it but a little surprised about Freddie, who has previously stood up to Bea at least a little over her treatment of Marcus.

In fact Hira was the only one who actually said to Bea that it was a mean thing to do. That'll be her card marked, then...

Febes · 01/08/2009 14:25

I really like Bea. She is at least making it interesting and I think things will centre around her now. Some of the others have gone so flat. I wonder what the tasks will be this week. I think the tasks have been a bit shit this year.

CybilLiberty · 01/08/2009 17:21

I like Bea too, she's funny intelligent, and if a bloke was saying most of what she says (Tom did a bit) they would be congratulated on their astute observations, but in a woman it's just see as bitchery.

LuluMaman · 01/08/2009 17:23

i agree cybil

bea has the courage of her convictions at least and will speak to teh person rather than just talk behind their back

she might do a bit of stirring, but i think on the whole her intentions are good and she is a nice person

Ledodgy · 01/08/2009 17:38

Have you seen this?

Ledodgy · 01/08/2009 17:39

I assume it's some kind of joke but I don't think it's v.funny!

Tortoise · 01/08/2009 18:01

Can't quite hear what they were saying. What is it about?

Febes · 01/08/2009 19:12

That better be a joke or ....wtf????? If they are acting then they are bigger idiots than I thought..... if not then she best get rid.

Chocolate bar, anyone??

TheChilliMooseISNOTFOREATING · 01/08/2009 19:29

I take it that Isaac left then?

LuluMaman · 01/08/2009 19:48

can;'t open it. can someone tell me what it isabout

cocolepew · 01/08/2009 19:50

Noirin and Isaac in a room she offers him chocolate and he goes into full seril killer mode shouting that she is "trying to fucking kill him" because he's lactous (sp) intolerant.

TheChilliMooseISNOTFOREATING · 01/08/2009 20:03

When did he leave the house?

cocolepew · 01/08/2009 20:04

He turned up halfway through BBBM

TheChilliMooseISNOTFOREATING · 01/08/2009 20:08

I was too drunk tired to watch BBBM. I've just read about his exist on the channel 4 site. I am pleased he has left.

stainesmassif · 01/08/2009 21:21

ooh, i like noirin finally giving out to bea - she so should have been left in. it's the most personality she's shown all series.

bea didn't come off too well there, thought she'd run her usual bitchy by stealth routine past noirin and 'bam' little bit of straight talking back at you! oh dear, i am taking this all too seriously.

TheChilliMooseISNOTFOREATING · 02/08/2009 10:16

I think Noirin only finally stood up for herself (albeit in an aggressive way) because Isaac was in the house to back her up with his aggression. I'm glad she's gone.
