TravellingWilbury - Yes he was definitely on Countryfile last week, you are quite right!

Last time I watched this they had just the 1 new born ahd were hoping to build an 'extension'. Yep an inspirational type of person for sure. It did take 10 years in the planning tho' and he can never 'sell' the house.

Coming late to the thread, wish I had seen the update as this has to be my all time favourite Grand Design.
I loved the house and his attitude to life, think I'll see if I can get to watch it online?
