On her wreck. But there was a new four oven Aga classic, plus Aga companion. That's about £13,000 on its own.

"Oh look I forged my owbn Aga. Isn't the enamelling amAzing?"

Come the revolution...her and the chocolate bloke against the wall and slapped very hard with a wild Pacific salmon.

ruddynorah · 24/04/2009 18:49

and nigella.

Swedes · 24/04/2009 19:28

Who is the chocolate bloke

Actually I missed Kirsty last night as I was out. Was it any good?

and the man who moved to a beach in Scotland but couldn't grow anything

ruddynorah · 24/04/2009 19:30

him

Swedes · 24/04/2009 19:37

I hadn't heard of the choccy man. But he looks nice - as though his intelligence has survived in spite of a lot of inbreeding. I like determined intelligence. I am put off though by his double barrelled name.

here you are Swedes you out to try the pheasant or duck cacka, sorry cacao, casserole.

ruty · 24/04/2009 20:46

ought.

margotfonteyn · 24/04/2009 21:38

Chocolate man needs to stop dyeing his hair.I watched the orgininal series. He is desperately annoying.

pointydog · 24/04/2009 21:50

That Kirsty is a one.

She is completely cuckoo

newgirl · 24/04/2009 21:52

i loved her show real escapism - that style has not been fashionable since the 80s - it was lovely to watch

such a contrast to the show that followed - were c4 having a laugh?

pointydog · 24/04/2009 21:54

what was the show that followed?

Swedes · 24/04/2009 21:57

newgirl - the thing is her style is standard sloane isn't it? All self-respecting sloanes blow their own glasses.

OP posts:
newgirl · 24/04/2009 21:59

it was about a young single mum trying to get on in the world with very little money or support - a completely different background - the contrast was shocking tbh and as much as i like kirstie i am sure she would have felt very awkward having her program before this one

pointydog · 24/04/2009 22:00

You see escapism, I see high farce

newgirl · 24/04/2009 22:00

i guess it is standard sloane - it just reminded me of lots of posh b and bs ive been in over the years

margotfonteyn · 24/04/2009 22:23

it is complete sloan ranger-dom (shows age)

Swedes · 24/04/2009 22:48

But it does stand the test of time. It looks OK almost 30 years later. Unlike some people's aubergine feature wall.

Quite fancy chocolate man despite him dyeing his hair. Bloke who bought a vinyard in France also needs to be up against the wall - employed a commoner from Birmingham to assist him

mrsmaidamess · 25/04/2009 19:30

Oh gawd , Chocolate man is my worst sort of man. So UP himself. Him and his bleedin coco beans.

Tinker · 25/04/2009 19:34

I don't sense much humour there but he doesn't need to speak too much
