I've watched the BBC news a few times today and noticed that all the femal presenters are wearing black

Even the woman doing Reporting Glasgow Scotland. In fact when I first saw it, female newsreader was wearing black and male one wearing a black suit and it did cross my mind that someone (Queen eg) had died!. Then have since seen another 3 female newsreaders wearing black.
isn't it strange the things we notice on tv?

I wouldn't have thought that was the reason. It jsut struck me as odd, maybe it was just coincidence

Perhaps they were all struck by the sudden fear of looking fat for the cameras. Too many easter eggs
