i just think it is a real shame that they didnt stick to the books

as in last series the policemsn (cant rem his name) got killed by lila

and that wasnt how the books were

in the books he got caught by a physco killer and lost his arm and leg and tonuge - but was alive and dexter rescued him - but he couldnt talk

you just heard him clumping down the hall

has anyone else read the books and got pissed off they changed the storyline?

I adore Dexter... have jsut read the first book, I made it the second book for the book group Frizbe and I started... have added the next book to the list. I prefer Deb in the book than on the show though.. far less annoying and skinny in the book.

Not so sure about the ongoing 'about to be found out' thing. Hope he finds some more bad guys to deal with soon

I don't think he will be found out, he's just going to be doing some 'problem solving'.

I did wonder at the start if I was going to be as madly into this series as the last one, by about 15mins in I was definitely convinced I would be.

I feel I'm the lone person who doesn't find Debs irritating . Though I find it intriguing she's married to Michael C Hall in real life, especially considering the large amount of bedroom scenes he does.

They are married in real life?

I think as a character she is good but blames everyone else for the fact that she has no control over herself, which is what annoys me, although it is veyr funny to see her fuck up again and agaian [evil]

wonder how long they will last and if they do spilt up will they both still be in dexter - guess if one has to go it will be her, cant really have dexter without dexter

I just think "How on earth is he going to get out of this one?". Then I get so tempted to wiki to find out what happens.

finally got the 4th book - was reading it late last night

its fab

cant believe rita is preggy, not happy about that story line
I think deb is sooo funny

have only watched the first episode of the latest season (we had too much crap to get through on the sky+)

have picked up the second novel but not started reading it yet either.
